Its actually a good thing the OT ended just about the same time the internet was becoming used by the general population in 1995/1996.

It also saved us from reading disturbing April/Irma pairing fanfiction.

Not that I want that, but why does that keep those who want to from writing those fics or drawing those pics? Just because a series isn't on the air doesn't keep it from being the source of odd 'shipping fics and pics. As the old adage goes, "where there's a will there's a way."

Heck, going through old VHS tapes I found a news report of a guy convincing a Washington kid he'd met on an America Online chat group to meet him for sex. The story was from a 1995 broadcast. (The same newscast also had a story about then President Clinton having trouble coming to a solution to budget concerns with the Republican congress. The more things change, eh?)

Your logic makes absolutely no sense, dude. I've been posting pictures and stories based on the classic toon online since 2000, four years after the series ended. Back then there used to be scores of fans who wrote Ninja Turtle fan fiction and drew fan art.

Don't forget his weakness to Leesanite (a parody of Superman's weakness to Kryptonite).

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Tough question. I liked both.

I liked Bugman as a character, tbh. A superhero like him didn't feel out of place in the FW series.
