"Beyond the Law" starring Steven Seagal

I thought I was looking at some kind of a spoof for a second, but it's legit.

To make matters worse, he is literally working on "Above the Law 2" right now.

Probably Steven Seagal. The guy is like both a bad penny and the Energizer Bunny. He just keeps turning up and goes and goes and goes.

Used to love his movies. Weird that between Arnold, Stallone, Van Damme and him (all the actioner guys of the 80s/90s), he ended up being the biggest weirdo/ego guy. And he didn't even bother to stay in shape.

They need to pump out another Expendables flick and maybe include Segal. If he can be worked with.

I think those movies are said and done though - even the often talked about "Expendabelles" never surfaced.

I think there’s some burnt bridges issues with Seagal joining Expendables.

Seagal used to be one of my faves, now... not so much, last movie I saw was some riff on Taken, I think.

If memory serves, Stallone wanted him in I think it was part 2, but Seagal either asked for too much money or just scoffed at the whole thing. It didn't end well, I recall.

Last movie I saw with him was the first Machete. He was pretty good in that... fairly threatening as a villain.

Yeah. The PG-13 Expendables 3 was the big betrayal... it's a big "don't care," now.

Expendabelles probably died with Expendables 3's low box office, coupled with the failure of stuff like Ghostbusters 2016. It's definitely not going to happen in a post-Charlie's Angels remake failure world.

Do you think he'd be interested in my spec screenplay Slightly Below the Law and Sort of Half Facing Away From It...?
