Were the Killer Pizza creatures never released as toys?
EDIT: And I have always been curious: Why is the original Shredder toy so different from the comic or cartoon version? I mean... for starters, he's shirtless.

YA they shoulda'!
I wonder if they would have been horrible looking or really cool... Think there will be any revival? Also it is odd though... much of the show's content was build on selling the toys/merchandise. But in this case, nothing from the episode were put out as toys (to my knowledge)

I don't think so. I don't remember seeing them in stores. Of course it could just be the stores in the crappy town I lived in at the time just never got them in.

Thanks for sharing the catalogs! They are awesome!
I love the inclusion of the Toxic Crusaders as well. That toyline fits so well with TMNT imo. I especially love all the glow in the dark parts! I saw TC around '92/'93 in the Blokker toy department on discount but passed and always regretted that. My money was going to Jurassic Park at that time I guess. Now all those years later I finally finished collecting all the loose complete figures in the line and the smog cycle. All that's left on my wantlist is the Crusaderskater and maybe more loose, complete Radiation Rangers! |
