i've watched the show since season one.

the writing is inconsistent, characters flip-flop all over the place, and storylines drag out and go nowhere.

i watched the show long before i was introduced to the comics.
glad i did discover the comics. at least it has some redeeming qualities.

as the tv series goes on it shows less and less zombies.
want to know why? cuz they can save budget. it's become a glorified soap opera.

What do you have to gain from continuing to watch? Sounds like you enjoy it very little, especially after reading the comics.

i gave the series one more shot to improve after being completely disappointed with season 6.

after watching the entire season 7 i feel like it has gotten even worse.

Sounds like no season 8 for you then. Lucky they still have the comics for fans that decide the show no longer fits them. And lucky for me that I still enjoy it and will continue to watch.

Looks like the show might give a F this season. Maybe two.

"The Walking Dead is allowed to use the F-word in season 8"

AMC decided to kill the only good thing they do all year long in the FearFest horror marathon for this month (its only a week this year) because they feel the need to air EVERYTHING Walking Dead because of the season 8 premiere. TWD has got to be one of the most overrated "horror" shows on television going today.

I have to agree, I loved the show when it came out, but the show as others has mention has become stale and a complete let down. I am going to watch the upcoming season because the new arch has caught my interest. Hopefully it will re-spark my interest in the show.
