No, it wasn't, and I, for one, WOULD. I love the series, and canon or not, would love to have the last season to finish it off. So would a lot of others, I imagine.

It's certainly canon according to Disney and I don't see Greg Weisman as the owner of the IP.

The Proper season 3 is the comic books that were released from 2007, there were 12 issues.

Personally I would prefer to see season 3 and make my own opinion if I like it or not and would consider it "cannon".

Season 3 in the show had at least 7 out of 13 good episodes, better than any Greg Weisman fanfiction comics he put out 25+ years later that were canceled again.

Looks like Gargoyles is doing well on Disney +. Apparently It's trending on twitter.

Also it's the the uncut and uncensored version, not the Toon Disney edited version.

I have to wait until March 31st for Disney +.

As much as I love Gargoyles I'd hate to see a new cartoon since I doubt a continuation would ever happen. I'd rather see a live action movie, they don't even have to change the sex and gender of the main human character.

I was so mad that the USA Network chopped off a LOT of content from Gargoyles when it was on-the-air. Mostly, it was to 'shorten the show' in order to make room for their commercials. Toon Disney eventually bought the 'edited' version of the show.

FOX originally aired the series as it was in the mid-90's.

SatAM Sonic was also cut for content, and there was hardly anything that was considered inappropriate in the show. Mostly, it was for toy / cereal commercials.
