I'm currently reading the Boom's Power Rangers comic book.

I watched the show when I was a kid so I tried just for fun, with no expectations...

What a blast!

So much better than the TV show. They aren't confined in the same formula.

I just finished Volume 4 of the main serie. I read volume 1 & 2 of "Go Go Power Rangers". I'll buy the "Shattered Grid" event coming in new Deluxe Edition in mid-November.

The main serie follows the original rangers (Jason, Zack, Trini, Kimberly & Billy) with Green Ranger Tommy. It begins just after the arc "Green with evil".

The second serie (Go Go PR) follow the original team (again) but a short time after they get their powers (so no Tommy here). Apparently, the goal was to offer something that wasn't "Tommy centric".

Never been that much a fan of Zach & Trini, but here they really are enjoyable characters.

They released Deluxe Edition books for Year 1 & Year 2 (#1 to #24), but it was limited edition printing, so it's hard to find.

Reading TMNT Ghostbusters and I am really enjoying it. The turtles play off the ghostbusters perfectly. Raph and Venkman get along Don Ray and Egon are big nerds with each other. Winston and Leo and Mikey gets along with everyone.

I also read Hellblazer Issue 1 of the new sandman universe. Its fantastic back to old school Constantine.

I haven't read them all yet exactly, but I found a great bunch of stuff at the comic book store today! They have a Used TPB for $5 box and they usually package complete runs of books in a tight bundle for like $5-15 - very convenient! - so I ended up getting:

- Doomsday Clock #12
- He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse #1
- Batman - Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth 25th Anniversary Edition
- X-Men: God Loves Man Kills
- SHAZAM! The New Beginning #1-4
- Wrath of the Spectre #1-4
- Superman: Secret Origin #1-6

I also picked up an 8-issue run of Street Fighter II from like ten years ago, I forget who published those, Udon or something? Anyways, one of her Christmas presents.

They had a Super7 Beast Man and Teela but I was starting to run low on cash. Maybe next time.

So, my wife got me this for our Anniversary, and it's incredible:

Hardcover, over 1200 pages, beautiful, and contains all the original MOTU mini-comics that came with the toys, all of the original She-Ra mini-comics, two pack-ins from the 2003 relaunch, and the first three MOTU Classics mini-comics. It also has one comic that was drawn but never finished, and another that was scripted but never drawn. In addition, there's tons and tons of interviews with some of the original writers, artists, etc., little Notes and trivia about some of the discrepancies between the comics and the toys and cartoons, and on and on and on.

I've had my eye on it for a long time but I'd never seen it in person before. It's amazing. Any He-Man fan needs to have it.

Going back to the beginning of The Shadow, without a doubt one of the most important characters in all fiction.

Crazy to think this story will be 100 years old in almost no time at all

For sure, that would make an amazing poster. Look great on the wall in a frame.

Kinda dig that noir/pulp-y stuff sometimes.
