That's cool, Plastron!

Finished sketching the whole comic I'm working on, so I'm pretty happy with that. Now it's just outlining and coloring left, and dialogue I guess.

Chinese knockoffs on eBay (with lots of good product reviews).

Trying to find an attachment for my rotary tool that would help me cut a straight groove, but can't figure out if the brand I have would actually fit all the Dremel (and other) brand stuff that's out there. Looks like the hardware stores sell an identical (other than the screw that tightens it) piece, but I don't want to spend a bunch of money to figure out that it might not even fit it. So I found a knockoff on eBay for just $1.49, so if it doesn't work out, okay then.

But I will never understand how they can afford free shipping to the U.S. for this stuff.

When someone offers free shipping the shipping cost is often actually included in the original charge, but not always.

Yeah, I mean that's what I'm saying. Free shipping overseas on an $1.49 item? Not that I'm complaining.

Pretty much. I'm kinda reminded of an online shop I got a coupon for that basically paid for the shipping and nothing else But I was ordering from their clearance section anyway and ended up with a bag of chewy dog treats [for my old dog's old teeth] for 2 dollars which was nice.

The cool weather at a time of year when we usually are already in the mid-90's or higher. Felt sooo good to actually need a light jacket in May! I love this kind of weather. Some light showers and cool breezes are nice this time of year. Especially since summer is always so hellishly hot and humid.

Had to share this. Got my new mouse in the mail today, which comes in a cool reusable plastic box. This cute little insert came with it.

Given that they tout their products as gaming stuff (though some also seems highly rated for casual use, animation and other artists, etc) I'm actually a little surprised the character in the insert is a girl, but that's pretty cool.

Also finally glad to go back to a mouse that is both larger and corded. Hoping the size will help... the little ones I've been using for years seem like such a hand killer. And saving batteries will be nice.

Making me happy- the cool weather today was nice; plus, I had a smoothie as a treat, and I even got out early enough to get home before Mr. D. comes home from dialysis, so I can take a little nap. No party props in the mail, but the beer came yesterday! Er, the little tub of Bud on ice for the party pics, that is. So cute! Looks so real. Can't wait to put it all together!

Someone has finally bothered to tape the carpet/rug thing to the floor, in the reception at work. The amount of times the damned thing kept getting moved around.

Went grocery shopping today and had those chicken chips from Taco Bell and they were pretty good. I hope they stick around for a while.

Saw the ad for those, they're not weird? Are they just crispy or like... triangle nuggets?

That's pretty cool. Do you think they wrote it purposely to read like a bad translation, or is it a legit bad translation?

I have the same problem with mice - I have big hands and the average mouse is too small for me to use without cramping up my hand. I bought an adjustable gaming mouse and extended the palm an thumb rests out, which helped a lot.

Ehhh... I'm not entirely sure, but think it may be legit. Some of the English in other materials with it is also slightly off, but not as much. Maybe it was a separate translator for that piece?

But I love wonky translations like that.

And I'm a woman, just with a lot of computer use. I don't know how any guys deal with those tiny mice. The size may be convenient, but that's a lot of soreness and fatigue.

So far so good, hoping the size of my new one will help curb all that with better ergonomics. If anyone is looking for a sizeable one, it's the E-3lue EMS-622. Not a pricey one, but nice ratings... Shall see how it holds up. (Also pretty cool looking, even if the lit features are a bit on the bright side.)

They're basically chicken shaped like chips and have a seasoning on them. They taste really good though.

Happy maker: It's my sister's birthday and we're going to celebrate with cake and ice cream later today!

Looks good. I ended up with a R.A.T. 7. It looks a bit odd, but it's nice and tall, and very adjustable.

Spoiler:

For comparison, here is the old one - it's a standard Dell desktop mouse, and it's the reason I have a bony lump on my wrist.

Spoiler:
