Teenage mutant ninja/hero turtles board games

I am aware that there are 2 (classic) "Teenage mutant ninja turtles" Board games:

Pizza power game (American)
The power game (British)

I have seen pictures of both of them, and the pieces (especially the pizza slices) look different

are the 2 games both the same game with different looking pieces or are they 2 different games?

There is also a third game, TMNT and the Tower of Doom. Though I suppose you might not consider that to be a traditional board game, more in line with Mouse Trap or Mountain Climber in that it used 3D constructs in the game play. I don't know if it was ever available in the US, my copy came from Canada.

I'm almost positive the tower was released in the states.

The one with the marble turtles and all the swords, right?

That's the one. It may very well have been available here in the states. But in my Ebay trolling days I usually saw it show up from Canadian sellers and I don't recall ever seeing it as a kid.

Just today I came across a board game called

Ready for Battle Game

It too is a vintage TMNT game but it seems to be made for a young audience. It was the first one I came across in my travels though! I bought it if you want photos. It is by RoseArt so I don't imagine it is that hard to find. It had an old Kmart price tag on it too!

Yeah... That would be it... Not a "great" game itself, but always a great addition to an evergrowing collection...

It was about a buck and complete!

That game looks like it might've been fun. The only TMNT board games I have seen are the tabletop RPGs. I wouldn't classify those as board games though. Has anoyone played the tabletop RPGs? They like look they might be fun.

these other turtles board games I am hearing about are music to my ears!

Anyway, sorry to be rude, but in answer to my question:

are "pizza power game" and "the power game" 2 different games or both the same game but with different looking pieces?

UK Release: "The Search For Shredder Game"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TEENAGE-MUTA...item4842e368e4

I have seen no information about this game, and any Britons who have played it should make a comparison to the Power Game, along with some instructions on how to play. It doesn't look like the game lasts that long, though I wonder what the manhole spaces and Shredder spaces do to each player. You can also clearly see they censored Mike's nunchucks on this box with a rope. It also looks like April plays damsel in distress in this game as well as though it's hard to make out the instructions, it seems to mention to place that token near the end.

Someone on the board here I think had a Polish version of the pizza power game with completely different artwork. It looked amazing.

There is also a toltoys version which is near identical to the US/UK release.

Couple of pics are on my website here: http://kolektor.npx.pl/photogallery.php?photo_id=193

And this is the box art:

Yeah, the UK "The Power Game" is quite different to the US "Pizza Power Game". The UK version's a nightmare to play, overly complicated and conveluted - I don't remember ever getting through a whole game...

I know there was a Ninja Turtles trading card game. Not quite the same thing. I don't think they ever made any additional sets, though.

I would love to see another Ninja Turtles card game. Trading card games seem to be on their way out except for Magic, but instead there are "living" card games which are the same general idea, except instead of randomized packs there's a new set every few months.

That's the one. There are also booster packs for increasing your collection and changing the decks, so that it will hopefully be a different game each time.
