Yeah same here. We will keep buying the basic figures but pass on the mix and match stuff.

Our boys are wanting figures of wyrm and armaggon. Our oldest one asked for armaggon for Christmas and I had to explain that isn't a thing...yet (he is 6 though and thinks that when a character is on the show that there is a figure that goes with it...I still haven't explained to him that Muckman isn't coming out after all cause I don't think he is ready for that news). Hopefully there will be a prototype for wyrm and armaggon shown at toy fair in a couple of months though.

I just wish Playmates would use packaging closer to the original retro line card backs for the re-release figures instead of the campy, waaay too bright generic packaging they are currently using.

Walmart had the wrong image when they listed Mozar, I'm not sure if it's still is.

I emailed Playmates asking about a Zog figure and this was the response that I recieved....

At this time our Hong Kong manufacturers are planning out which figures they will be releasing in 2016. As of now, we have no information on which exact figures those will be. You can always try contacting us at a later time to see if any new updates are available.

Zog had way more rips on him. this one only has minor ones and a big one on it's stomach. If it's supposed to be Zog they did a awful job.

I was going through some old Toy Fair news and completely forgot about the Savanti Romero, Mutant 3 pack and Kraang Prime figures. I'll be curious to see if any of these see release or if we will get a whole new lineup of figures in the first 2016 wave. My fingers are crossed that Dire Beaver is still released too.

Am I the only one who finds the first part of this completely backwards? Surely Playmates TELLS their Hong Kong manufactures which figures to make not the other way around!

I am on a bit of a Hiatus from Playmates. After the MuckMan BS that just did it for me. I might try playmates around the second movie. But right now I got companies who actually care about their customers to buy from.
