Complete Series DVD coming in December

https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutan...=1YVGST030BGQ4

Coming on December 6th, the complete 2012 show is getting a DVD set. Judging by the lack of Blu-ray, low price and chunky case, I'm guessing this is a repack of the existing individual Volume discs. Great price, though. Haven't picked up many of the previous releases, so this is definitely going on my radar.

Yeah seems like just a repackage of everything. If the show ever gets a blu-ray set I'd buy it. It looks good in HD.

Cool, Wish it was in blu-ray, I have the complete set of the 87 series, I recently setup my own plex server and ripped all the discs of the 87 series, It would be nice if I had this set so that I can put on my server too.

I have something similar set up via WD MyCloud media servers. Until this comes out on Blu-Ray, I'm set with that.

Like many have said. If this was Blu Ray id be all over this. There is no reason this couldn't get a blu ray release

I'm always glad to see shows get "complete series" physical releases, even if it's less than ideal.

I have the DVD of Wanted Bebop and Rocksteady that has two episodes on it, When I ripped that for my plex server, I had to name the files in order for Plex to display the proper information, and it shows them as Season 5 episodes.

It's so weird, there are still zero TMNT TV shows available on Blu-Ray.

agreed it makes no sense. 2003 and 2012 should have been on blu ray like yesterday. But Nick/viacom don't get it

Truth is at this point they are so behind on it that if they ever get around to rescanning the shows from the cells or master, I hope they just do it in 4k. I'm not sure how much more it can do for the format, but the original Ghost In The Shell animated flick looks amazing in 4k.

There's this new trend of releasing a complete series of an animated show on Blu-ray, But they are still in 480i quality, The reason for this is because Blu-rays stores a lot more data then DVDs, So they can have a bunch of episodes on a single Blu-ray Discs, and have less discs to worry about, So you could have a complete series that may be on 2 or 4 Blu-rays depending on how many episodes there are.

For example, Sonic X has a complete series that has all 78 episodes on two blu-rays discs.
