I'm curious as to whether these Mighty Morphin' Rangers are in-canon with the TV series, and thus... will this be a prequel to the Next Mutation Turtles-Power Rangers in Space crossover episodes?

I can confirm that the Boom Studios Rangers are an alternative reality to the original TV series; many elements remain the same but ultimately it is quite different.
I've read up to the conclusion of the Shattered Grid arc and it's pretty good but I'm strictly a Zordon era fan and the inclusion of many later ranger characters put me off reading further due to a lack of familiarity, that and I don't have the time to catch up on 20 years of episodes.

Loved both as a kid so it should be a fun story. Imagine Rita growing Bebop and Rocksteady...she might win actually.

marvel did crossover with streetfighter in games.Back then when marvel license were cheap as it was on the border of bankruptcy

I quit Power Rangers with the TMNT crossover episode and only the Boom! series made me look at it again. I know I said it a million times. It was a spit in the face of the original six and Ninja Turtles as I knew them. This is what the 90s' kid in me wanted and no there was no competition with the TMNT losing steam to Power Rangers I freaking loved them both and TMNT was always my #1. Tommy in green and the Green Team in the same image that I did not draw in the early to mid 1990s'? 21 years later Power Rangers gets redeemed. After Boom!'s success and crossing over with the Justice League and TMNT having several crossovers it was inevitable to happen. The 90s' kid and mega TMNT fan and former MMPR fan in me is excited for this. Maybe the TMNT can take a lead of the two featured and not get dragged through the mud this time around too,but I doubt it since we have Boom! apparently writing it instead of the preferred IDW. No Andros or Venus to ruin it all either.

What the hell does that even mean? I'm familiar with both franchises and I'm drawing a total blank here. Transforming TMNT? TMNT getting robots? What? There is no obvious thing coming to my mind.

While I love both TMNT and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, I really dislike when the two are often compared together. And I know the reason why people do that but they are two entirely different properties. So I can't really say that I'm excited over this despite the art style looking clean. If this was 5-9 year old me, maybe.

I thought the first crossover was fairly good (minus a few things), the second one I haven't fully read but based on what I saw I disliked and the third one looks kinda iffy.

I feel like it's gotta Super Mutation. I mean Dragon Zord/ Shredder dragon vs Megazord/Saint Turtle. would be perfect.

Well here we are. The crossover I've wanted to see since 1993. Wish I could show that cover to my 7 year old self. And it doesn't hurt that these both happen to be the only two comic series I'm actively following on a monthly basis either
