It's getting to the point where A.I. art is pretty much indistinguishable from "real" art, and it's only going to improve in the next few years.

I really feel sorry for real artists who work on comic books, on videogames, anime/cartoons, etc...most of their jobs are going to be severely reduced or lost as the next decade goes on. Especially new younger artists just starting their careers, they really are going to get screwed over the most. Looks like the pre-2020's was the best time to be an artist.

Edit: When you just try to do cute fan-dork stuff for fun once in a while, like asking for a Turtle and a human friend walking through an autumn meadow... and it gives her six fingers and... OH GOD why is she carry a CAT like that??



And those pants are gonna hurt if she dares to sit down.

I'm kind of annoyed the Bing creator seems to have little idea what a typical average woman actually looks like. Keeps either giving me bimbo-looking types that look entirely out of place in the setting or old ladies. I asked for a skinny women, to try to stop the bimbo look... and it returned an anorexic-looking old lady. Wtf... lol

Voice acting's a breeze thanks to Elevenlabs. Haven't applied it to the A.I animations just yet, but I repurposed existing FW footage for this short

It's been wild to see how fast the image AI stuff is evolving.



On the other hand... I think the Bing one needs therapy. I only wanted to create a fun Valentines-ish image of a Turtle and friend playing around. But Bing is like "Let's add WOLVES and a SPOOKY WOODS! And she should have a bundle of very long straws!"

What I asked:

An adult ninja turtle is running and throwing Valentine's Day candy at a female friend. Realistic art style.

What I got:



Others were more "normal," but struggled to get what I wanted and never really hit on it. Bing seems very biased on what women even look like, which is annoying. Cookie cutter models or, if you dare suggest glasses, more often it's suddenly an old lady.

Thought this one was pretty though...even if Leo looks a bit crazy.




Then trying to include all four and mentioning a woman friend turns into a mistake, because it either forgot one Turtle and had a woman with a mask on or in one case it forgot the friend, but ... um... Donnie...?




Tried one more time before hitting submit, this is prob the best one. I really wanted something like a food fight and never got it, but at least this one is kind of adorable.





Edit: Never did directly ask for a "food fight" so one last try. The old lady is back thanks to "glasses."




Meh. Friend hugs. The end.




The comic or other non-realistic art styles seem to have forgotten how to make a grinning/laughing Turtle. Keep asking and they all come out looking crazy or really serious, unlike that other hug one I did a while back.

Anyone know any image generators that can create "Magic Eye" stereograms? Was thinking that would be cool, but not seen anything in a brief search. Maybe it's not far enough along to handle that sort of thing.
