I still see them on the ThreeZero website. They very well could get cancelled but they have them listed on there still.

That is seriously sad if they that set was canceled. Not quite my cup of tea, but really sad.
I assume they were preorder and paid up front like the rest of their stuff, right? So I find a cancellation like that strange and depressing that they'd just up and not bother making them for those that ordered and already handed money over. Better not happen with the OotS... I want my Leo. Already had that katana replica canceled by that other company early in the year (and why I went ahead and ordered the figure), I don't need it happening twice. (The katana wasn't paid upfront though.) |

I preordered a set and got a refund about a month ago form Threezero. They said that they had indeed been cancelled.

Doubt it, I haven't gotten any notices about that myself, and those are still featured on the site.
Assuming it was the Eastman ones, that's a damn shame. Wonder why it didn't happen? |

l can understand why considering they didn't look that appealing. The style was very bizarre but yet many have said that about the Bay turtles. If these Eastman figures would've looked like his current style then maybe they would've had a better chance of following through with the toy line. They easily would've looked more appealing.

I asked ThreeZero about Bebop and Rocksteady a few months ago, they then said the release would be in August, but it's now been moved to September.
Leo and Mikey (OOTS) should have been out by now too. Maybe all four Turtles will be released at the same time since Raph and Donnie were listed for 'October - December' and that's not so far away now. At least none of the OOTS figures have been cancelled (yet) like the Eastman figures. |

Little surprised those who prefer a much grittier look weren't at least mildly more interested. I do like the art Eastman did for these, but it looks better as art, I guess.
As for OotS... I was hoping these would have been out already, but didn't the set from the first film take about a year? Hoping that maybe their estimated dates have just been severely optimistic. Esp with all these other brands they are pumping out as well and each figure needs time to hopefully get the appropriate attention to detail. If I recall, preorder opened for these last Oct. For the first set, did they wait until they were entirely done before shipping any? Or did many early orders go out at some point while later orders still waited a bit? |

If the Eastman ones had be $50-60 premium figures rather than 1/6 I'd have ordered them without a second thought. I like the look and think they'd make a cool set, just not at the price point 1/6 scale collectables go for these days.

I liked Mikey and Leo, but the Don and Raph had a weird look to me that made me skip them. The overhead bandanna headwrap stuff I dont like along with the tiger stripes.
Plus 1/6th scale were all over the place and they were last to the party.

Agreed. In the art I don't mind, but it was sculpted into the model and creeps me out because (imo) it came out looking more like slash marks in Raph's flesh rather than just stripes.
Esp visible on his right calf in this image: Spoiler:
Leg wounds... *icky cringy feels* But if someone wanted to repaint them as wounds to get some major body damage, I suppose there's that. |

However, it has been over a year now since the pre-order for Bebop and Rocksteady went live. |

True, B&R's preorder was when, July [of] last year or around that? At least they keep including them in the release schedule so they'll prob surface at some point. (I would think they'd surely have produced quite a few already that are sitting waiting?) Maybe they're just harder to make.

It's an Out of the Shadows film version. https://www.threezerohk.com/product/...-shadows-bebop https://www.threezerohk.com/product/...ows-rocksteady Last edited by IndigoErth; 08-24-2017 at 08:28 AM. |

Good to hear, perhaps all four will indeed be released at the same time.

So did B&R finally ship out? Saw someone commented on the company's FB page thanking them and mentioned he had a (German) review on YouTube.

There are serveral reviews on YouTube for Bebop and Rocksteady. No word yet on the Turtles, but they have not been cancelled so that's a good thing. |
