Ace Duck (in pilot's gear)

No sure about the orange fish in the suit and hat, the elephant with broken tusk, and the thing in the front that looks like a mole with a miner's helmet.

One weird thing I've noticed about all the Cover As is that they seem to reflect the contents of a different issue, whereas the Cover Bs all seem to match the solicited plot.

Cover A for #4 seems to match the solicit for #2. Cover A for #3 seems to match solicit for #4, and so on.

Wondering if this is a major editorial gaffe and whether they will align the covers and stories more closely before issues hit the stands.

All of the issues for 2-4 jump between four main different dimensions. So instead of trying to list them all in the #2 solicit, or whatever, we just spread them across the different issues. It'll make sense when the issues come out!

Thanks, Bobby! That was my other guess! Really looking forward to this! Makes me want to buy variant covers and the TPB to collect them all!

Elephant with the broken tusk may be a take on Doctor El

Oh, yeah, it totally fits! I was thinking of the Mammoth from Archie Comics, but it's good to see Doctor El isn't a character totally lost to obscurity!

Who is that orange goldfish in the trenchcoat? There's no TMNT character like that.

Reminds me of Fish Stix the sidekick for Ray Fillet in the toy line. Although he was known as something different in Archie and didn't he die?

You mean Glub Glub?

I'm not sure that's him.

Yes, he dies in that scene. The guy shoots him. But there's a whole colony of Glub Glubs since they're sea creatures.

Okay. So that's just a guess of mine obviously.
