I do want them to be harassed by them, and I want them to tell them to f*** off. Not apologize and capitulate.

I think Bebop and Rocksteady should to a cameo-appearance in the 4 Kids series as humans in the Purple Dragons gang, just like an Utrom was called Krang.

That wasnt Bebop and Rocksteady. Just two purple Dragons. I didnt have any mutant henchmen in 2003 series until the end in 2009 Turtles forever movie.
But now yes i will always have Bebop and Rocksteady. But i will be choosing carefuly which ones i will mutate into them. Only powerful and very evil men like Ivan Steranko and Anton Zech are worth to become Rocksteady and Bebop.
Not weak cowards like the ones i had from 1987 until 1996. Expect all my Bebops and Rocksteadys to be awesome like the 2012 and 2011(IDW) are!

Nickelodeon's Bebop and Rocksteady are OK. But no need for Dogpound and Fishface.

One of the parts of the show I had no problems with. I LIKED the reinvention of Bebop and Rocksteady. thought they where awesome.

DogPound and Fishface though, COULD have been awesome, but got forgotten rather quickly. (cue cubed 'what the hell' lead post)

I personally don't see ROTMNT lasting long. ESPECIALLY if it has the horrible schedule that Nick gave the last show. NOTHING kills a show faster than a bad schedule.

I first thought Chris Braford and Xever Montes would become Bebop and Rocksteady in the Nickelodeon series.

Dogpund/Rahzar and Fishface were in the entire show until the very end.

Bebop/Rocksteady don't even get mutated until halfway into Season 3. I have no idea why people act like Bebop/Rocksteady were there longer than they were, and even then Rahzar/Tiger Claw and then Fishface continue to appear in most of the Shredder-centric eps for the rest of the series.

Probably because they appeared in earlier series.

if you mean their human forms, we barely saw them. Rocksteady appeared for like 5 minutes in one Season 1 episode. Bebop didn't appear till the end of Season 2 with Rocksteady, and that was it till Season 3.

No, but Bebop and Rocksteady appeared in the MWS series and TMNT Adventures comics, so for many people it probably feels they've always been in TMNT, despite they weren't in the 4 Kids series.

A good chunk of them at least, more than enought to be annoying.

It's the same bizarre **** as Power Rangers. It's like they went out of their way to be lazy.

The average is 0.896

Which (believe it or not) has been fairly typical for Nickelodeon the past year. And Disney Channel. Cartoon Network does even worse.

I think kids networks might be the first type of TV channel to bite the dust.

Thank you! It's quite surprising, I've always thought that kid's channels had good ratings. However, I believe that 2012 series only got to less than 1.0 point in its last season? Hmm, maybe it will rise with time I guess.

Like most kids these days watch shows streaming online, either on their computer, ipad or iphones.

I have to constantly remind people we're not in 2005 anymore, the days of people sitting on front of their TV to watch a show at a certain time, especially for kids, is pretty much over.

Man, you know what, you're right. Which means there's still a chance that ROTTMNT is doing good on the streamings.

You know what's nifty about TV ratings? Anyone can see them.
What's not so nifty about streaming traffic? It's kept closed from the public.

That's why I almost never take "it probably does well on streaming" arguments seriously. If you can't back up an argument properly, it's not worth considering. People are doing the thing with comics, claiming that book selling terrible through Diamond is actually doing great when sold as trades on Amazon, even though we can't actually access Amazon's sales data. It would be great if we could see this data, then we'd actually have something to talk about.

The comic comparison isn't all that great when Diamonds numbers are super unreliable.

There's a huge difference with streaming in that it's always there. When eps air on TV they're just there once in that timeslot and not again until reruns. On online streaming the eps are always there and the ad revenue that plays during them constantly generates money. In a way it's much better than television.

TV in general is an outdated concept in that most families don't gather around it anymore the way they used to. And as I said, ratings also only keep track of the "new" airing of each episode, finding ratings for reruns is much harder because well...not many people care about reruns.
