This looks good, much more sombre tone. Hopefully it'll relish its R rating.

^ Hopefully that scene won't feature any Roger-Rabbit-style claws.

Doesn't seem quite wholly confirmed, but it seems likely.

Reynolds and Mangold are refuting the report.

El Mayimbe is a hack.

Thank God... Deadpool's inclusion would be one easy way to cheapen the film.

Deadpool would just be in a post-credit scene anyway, so it would be nothing more than advertisement for the next movie.

Let's hope there's a make out scene with Logan and Deadpool.

And since they are meeting again:

Hopefully. I hate pretty much the mass majority of the X-Men universe as it is, but I wouldn't disagree that it all deserves a balls-out R-rated finale led and finished out by Wolverine (he basically led the first Singer movie, anyway).

After that? Leave it buried. F*** it all. Even if no deal is ever reached with Marvel.

I would even go so far as to include Deadpool in that. Any sequel to that film is going to suffer in comparison to the original, which I thought was rather overrated anyway.

I wasn't feeling that trailer as much as the first, kind of looks like an R-Rated Kids Flick, but then, the best r-rated kids flick is Terminator 2 so maybe it could be more like that.

Using the comic books is an interesting choice...kind of makes me think FOX are getting more comfortable with meta commentary since it worked so well in Deadpool (and could really offer a convincing case for a Deadpool cameo that they've been denying)

I can't stop watching this trailer. This could be the second great X-Men film. Give me this, and then the rest of the franchise can go drive itself into the ground with Singer.

Having the comics be a part of this universe now gives me a very small amount of hope that we might finally see Jackman in the classic Wolverine outfit via flashback in this movie. We already know Mangold had the costume made for The Wolverine.

Kinda funny how they apparently have X-Men comics in this timeline - you'd think that this dark, dreary, lifeless film series would abhor such a fun and interesting idea. I guess Mangold's logic is that it's an abstract way of grounding this movie more in "reality".

I think the time for that has passed. Would welcome it, though.
