Yeah last I heard, September was the target date that Randy had said during San Diego Comic-Con I think. I believe one set was the 1987 versions of Leatherhead and Slash. So I hope to hear something soon so we can know when to search those stores for the goodies.

I'm trying not to stress these even though I need that Slash bad. Distribution is so bad that some of us won't even see these in store until February or March. Hopefully online option for ordering does become a thing. If target for Target (see what I did there?) was September then October or November is probably more realistic though.

Finally got my hands on 3 of the four packs. Still wondering when we'll see these in retail in Canada.

I really hope they get in Target.com. Mine is usually pretty well stocked these days. With Predator and Alien stuff. Have yet to see one turtle. I have the SDCC set. But I want the coming waves.

Wave 2:
Bebop and Rocksteady
2 foot soldiers (repack)
Leo and Donnie style guide repaint
Raph and Mikey style guide repaint

Beyond that specifics are unknown. We know we’re getting April, Casey, roadkill Rodney’s, ultimate foot soldier and/or damaged foot, slash, Metalhead, and probably some more I’m forgetting

I've got an extra Raph/FS for some reason. Should I sell the box set, or use the Foot Soldier in a Detolf display and basically let the spare Raph chill forever?

What's a style guide repaint?

The animated turtles had a coloring specific to the animation, but if you go to any of the other printed apocrypha of the time (shirts, ads for commercialized stuff, etc), the turtles typically appeared in a lighter green skin tone. Style guide colors for promotional material.

NECA is going to rehash the old molds and release them in the lighter style guide paint color.

Interesting, I hadn't heard of that. Are there any pics?

I haven't seen any... but if you mean of the style guide colors in general, just check out the image on one of your vintage TMNT carrying cases, I think.

The colors are visible in the sdcc 2019 display photos.

The wave 2 turtle variants have heads, arms, and legs with paint apps almost similar to the Arcade turtles exclusives. The belt buckles are not light pastel blue like with the wave 1 turtles. Michelangelo’s nunchucks are gone for this set. Instead, the Turtle Line is in its place. Don’s bo is unpainted as well.

Comparison pictures do not exist yet because the wave 2 turtles are only up for pre-order in the UK like the user above you mentioned. So, you will have to wait until January or February of next year to see a review of these.

Sometimes, your attention to detail is incredibly useful.

The Foot Soldiers look to be the same for army building purposes. The Target 2 packs with Bebop and Rocksteady will be the most valuable for wave 2.
