Today's cartoon is all CGI and takes months to get new episodes, sometimes they finish the episodes on the last minute.

we had it easy back in the days, but for today's generation, they have to wake longer to see new episodes, and they might end up forgetting about it afterward.
Well yeah, I understand that it takes time and money to make new episodes, but even just looking at reruns it's one episode per week, and sometimes, not even that. When they do show reruns they usually don't venture past the last four to six episodes, so it's only four to six weeks of reruns. They've been airing season four from the beginning, so I'm a little surprised, but I bet there won't be anymore after that until we get new episodes. Maybe they'll even stop half-way through. *shrugs*

People get older? Man what a novel concept.

We're all so old now. It feels like only yesterday some of us were angsty teens on message boards. Now here some of us are a decade later still doing the same thing in our late 20's or early 30's.

For those of you still in your early 20's, enjoy them while you can, they will fly by before you know it. It feel like our teenage years took forever to get through, but your 20's zoom by.

Something that makes me feel old...when this series started, I was still a few months away from meeting my wife(and perfectly happy with the single life). Now we have a 2 month old son in the mix...

I was pushing 20 when I first started using message boards, so this angsty teen thing on a message board is a foreign concept to me.

The kids who watched the first season of this show are already teenagers
Well... if they were close enough to their teens to have hit it by now. Plenty still weren't and aren't.

I was in my 30s when I started watching it. I still am! Magic!

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that when Cubed posts these weird age threads...

I think it's interesting because as they've grown older they can hang on Internet forum discussing TMNT fandom from their view. They're the third generation now to do that when it comes to TMNT cartoons.

If they were 10 in 2012 they would now be 14. If they were 8 they would now be 12 and almost becoming teens. Aside from very young kids I wouldn't be surprised if the original fanbase of the show outgrew it.

Reminds me of the fads from my days, like 80's TMNT, Power Rangers and Pokemon. All the kids watched the very first years of those shows and then outgrew them and moved on despite the shows still running for years. I bet it happened here.

30 isn't middle age/life, though. He'd need to be at least 40-45 to start having one lol.

A couple of years ago CyberCubed's obsession was race. Now it's time and ageing. What's his next obsession/shtick gonna be? Wanna place your bets, folks?

I could see him becoming a stickler over weight gain/loss
