I'm trying my damndest to get a hold of the hard copies of TMNT v3 #s 24, 25, and Tales of the TMNT #71!! These need to be in my collection!!
Does Mr. Modeen have any copies available? I know #24 may be all gone but I'd like to see if it's possible to get them stateside before placing an order with DemonAlukard. Interestingly enough, I read the digital version of Tales #71 and found it to fit perfectly as an intro story to the original Tales of the TMNT #7 from 1989 which I re-read. Help is appreciated and many thanks in advance!! |

You're going to have to get them on eBay right from the source. None are left stateside unless someone decides to put their collections up for sale.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I hope to add these to the collection sooner rather than later. I'll have to try eBay or will have to purchase them directly from DemonAlukard. Much thanks!

I am digging this thread as I have a few questions for Arseniy.
First I read this TMNT story will be officially reprinted with a redrawn frontispiece and an epilogue (both by Jim Lawson) through Illusion Studios in Russia by Arseniy Dubakov as part of a Tales Vol.1 collection. More info here (TMNT Entity) Is there any plan to reprint this story in English so readers could enjoy the new pages ? Else, I would love to be at least able to print them. My second question is about Tales of the TMNT #71 and its various prints. The copy I own does not have the Predator/TMNT ad. Was it a question of copyright ? This means there are at least 2 prints of this book :
How many copies were printed for this second batch ? Thanks ! |

Hey, guys.
Once I prepared an English version of the mysterious "Spanish" comic, re-acquainting Turtles and Renet bypassing all-known Cerebus the Aardvark for the all-known reasons. Then as the basis for publication I took the only published version in Spanish, translated and designed it from the scans. Since then, so much happened. At the moment I am the official publisher of the classic TMNT comics in Russia, and at the beginning of this year we published the book "Tales of the TMNT" in Russian, which included that same story. It differs from the fan edition, because this time I got real "raw" pages and fully updated the lettering, making it better, while keeping most of the original art. Also my frontispiece of the fan edition was redrawn by Jim Lawson. And finally, one more page (which was initially absent from in the Spanish version) has been added to the official publication. I understand that the story will hardly ever be published officially, because IDW hadn’t much problems with Cerebus and they managed to publish the original story. Therefore, I am ready to update the "unofficial" version again, renew the comic and publish it as a limited edition for those who wish to get it. Please express your opinion руку and PM me if you want me to include you in the list for a print copy. Here is a few references between old and new Russian editions: You can find more info about original fan edition on TMNT entity. |

I have a story behind this pinup as well. I really want to do something special for TMNT comics back in 2009 so I've asked Jim Lawson if I could draw a pin-up for Tales Vol.2 series. He promised to do all he can, but when I did the picture, he figured out what Dan Berger can't use it because there is no contract with me and I'm not from USA at all. So I've used black and white version of this picture for the second batch of Tales #71. Last edited by Demon-Alukard; 06-18-2016 at 10:03 AM. |

Thanks for the info Arseniy!
You can definitely count me in for the new batch of Tales #71 with the updated pages. That's awesome. |

What would be the price and shipping total? If this is shipping from Russia I imagine quite a bit?
