Star Wars / Justice League crossover (unmade comic with Alex Ross)

So before Disney bought Lucasfilm, the was a pitch for a JLA/SW crossover that would have featured art by Alex Ross. I find it amusing that this was never made but we did get Star Wars meets Phineas and Ferb, as well as Star Wars in Fortnite.

I don't think Lucas would've signed on it and he was ok with weird interpretations of star wars. Star Wars x Marvel seems like it'll happen sooner or later and worst of all many fans actively ask for it.

I'd love it just for the inevitable Darkseid/Dark Side naming confusion.

I'd read even a cook book with this art!

Waits for the inevitable "the dark side originated as a form of black magic on Apokolips" retcon

Hard to say no when you are proposed with Alex Ross art. That guy is seriously something else.

DC Comics has crossed over with Masters of the Universe and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Masters of the Universe has crossed over with the Thundercats.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has crossed over with Archie Andrews Riverdale, Sherlock Holmes, the Arthurian Legend and Usagi Yojombo.

We have also seen various Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universes crossing over with each other. Various DC Comics universes have also crossed over with each other.

Imagine what a big multiverse we would have when adding Star Wars.

All of this!

This idea always intrigued me. Would have loved to see how all of it played out and possibly finding out if Vader or the Force could handle Superman or not.
