I respect what FW cartoon did for the turtles franchise but it is the most overrated and hard to watch of the 3 turtles cartoons. |

I don't think that was the reason it was being pitched, it's just what they were going to use as the exclusives. And they wouldn't look like those if their pitch was successful; they were the prototypes/proofs-of-concept.
