Awesomeness.
Too bad you're leaving the project. Now I'm counting on Spawn Guy.

Sorry to see you guys go, but good luck. You're both good at what you do and I speak for everyone here when I say we're wishing you all the luck in the world. Hope we get the chance to work together again. Okay people, here's the situation: The 1st issue script is finished. Just ten or so more pages to go. Issue 2 needs some of the middle feeling in and the first five pages of issue 3 are written up. The story arcs following the start of the series are planned out but with nothing actually written. The project dosen't have to grind to a halt. All we need is an artist, at least until such time as I get up off my ass, buy a scanner and start doing it myself. And even then I'll need some help. So all you pencil pushers out there PM or Email if your interested. Please.

...whoa, this stuff is NICE. Even without needed to be defined with speech bubbles, you can easily tell who all of the human characters are. Plus the Splinter vs. Foot bit at the beginning is great... some sweet poses for our rat master, especially bottom of page 3.

Thanks for posting the notice and whatnot, Raven.
Spawny, I'm really sorry about not including you in this. I ended up getting sidetracked so I didn't drop you a note about it. My bad. You came up with a lot of great ideas for the series, so the project is in capable hands. Hope there are no hard feelings. Seeing the artwork again, I have a sudden urge to letter the pages that have been posted so you folks can see what the dialogue was (though for the first six pages, the only words on the pages besides credits were the sound effects; there was no dialogue until page 7). Or would that end up spoiling things for the revamped version of the series. I'm really curious to see if this project gets another artist; it'd be great to see it continue.

Huh. Brings up another point: Lettering and sound effects. Anyone got any kind of tech for that?

Bebop and Rocksteady on pages 9 and 10 were a good touch. :p
And teenage April and Irma... Casey and his old pals Eastman and Laird....man...one wonders what Mirage would do if you submitted this...

If you need another writer you have an avid TMNT fan and possessor of a TV Scriptwriting Masters Degree right here.
I did plan to start my own version, and I apologise to Spawny for not getting the ball rolling. But I've been pretty busy and I think I'd work better as part of a group. |

Wow, that was awesome. The Splinter fight was amazing (I love seeing Splinter use a bow & arrow.)
