Looks alright, but damn all modern kids cartoons look almost exactly the same.

I'm a little more excited about the new Kung Fu Panda series, to be honest. Though my brother really liked the Mr. Peabody and Sherman series and the same animation studio is working on this one, so he will likely be looking forward to this one.

Looks pretty good, voices sound great, could do without Rocky's redesign though.

As a fan of Rocky and Bullwinkle, I'm really excited for this

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Looks interesting but it is a shame we never got that animated movie from I believe it was Dreamworks since they did Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Part of me wonders if they waited to put this into production until after Foray's passing.

But wow! Tara Strong sounds great as Rocky!

Yeah, I'll be checking this out.
I do like how they've managed to upgrade the character design, while still keeping it really rooted to the original.

Also...HA! Who'd have thought Cold War humor would be back in style?

Rocky and Bullwinkle was a show I was always interested in but it was just too outdated for me to get into, I'm surprised by how much Nickelodeon promoted it in the early 90s though, I guess Nicktoons were still not as big as they became.

The re-designs are cool in that retro but modern way similar to the new Mickey Mouse and Looney Tunes shorts.

Well didn't the first Rocky and Bullwinkle movie from a decade ago bomb ? And that Peabody and Sherman movie that came out a while ago also boombed? But I think the show has done well on Netflix. Maybe they realized where to focus their efforts.

I don't really watch modern cartoons to know the names but these modern 2D cartoons that are in HD definitely have this bland "flash" like qulity to them that i can't describe but I agree that they all look alike and have boring designs. I mean I'm watching the Magic School bus Rides again revival series and by comparing them there's something generic about it that doesn't seem as exciting:

Those character designs, everyone is the same, and not only in art style also their personalities don't shine. I went in without nostalgia too to give it a chance but no deal. Which is a shame the looked awesome.

Its kinda unfair to judge modern animation looking at the worst

With the holiday season in effect right now and June Foray was known for doing lots of iconic ones I remembered that Tara Strong was interviewed earlier this year about honoring June's legendary performance as Rocky.

Quote:
What was your thought process like when you realized you’d be following up on the late, great June Foray’s iconic performance?

Strong: Oh my gosh, there was a huge connection. Very daunting. And those are some pretty big shoes to fill for such a little lady. It’s such a beloved character, she’s such a beloved icon, you don’t want to just jump in the booth and phone it in, which neither I nor my cohorts would do anyway, but I knew right away how daunting it would be to get a new generation to accept me as Rocky. The nice thing is, even before hearing my version online, a lot of the fans were like, “June would be proud.” That kinda makes my heart happy. I did meet her and she was so lovely to me, and so I’m aware and I hope that the general public appreciates my version, which is sort of a mix between here and I, although three or four episodes in, it sort of becomes all her.
