Since I am a Gold Member of the D23 club I am actually going to see an advanced screening of the film one week from today. Of course, I wouldn't mind seeing it more than a couple of times because the story looks very sweet. Like Jodi Benson and Paige O'Hara, Jim Cummings is someone I've been listening to since I was little and his faith is also very important to him. That makes him another one of my celebrity role models.

Disney has released an extended sneak peek of the film.
I'm hoping that Teen Titans Go The Movies doesn't take away too much of this film's family-friendly audiences. Cummings was disappointed when 2011's Winnie the Pooh underperformed at the box-office due to it being released the same weekend as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. More families were also taking kids to see The Smurfs instead of it. I'm hoping that this film will serve as a comeback story for the franchise. |

So, I just got back from the advanced screening a little while ago. All I can say is that this is a film you don't want to miss. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The story was simple, sweet and just perfect.

China has decided not to release the film at all. Because... China.

Because people keep comparing their leader to Winnie the Pooh. It's a thing.

I can't wait to see this on the weekend. It's really limited release, which sucks.

Why the hell would this be limited release? This should have wide appeal.

It's in over 3,600 theaters, which is a pretty wide release.

Damn, we always get the MCU movies early, but then we have to wait for the other Disney movies for extra two-three months. Oh well, win some, lose some.

Am I the only one who thinks Pooh is a honey pot of nightmare fuel? I don't know what it is, but he's super scary looking to me. If I was a kid he would freak me out.

I went to see the movie for a second time today with some friends and it was just as sweet and touching as I remembered. I also stayed during the credits this time:

Today I saw the film for the third and probably final time in theaters I took my mom and my cousin's little boy with me. Neither of them had seen it yet. My mom really enjoyed it. As for my cousin's son, well he did like it, but at times he did get a little bored. That's probably because he's just about to turn four and he wasn't all that familiar with the characters. Still, he did have a good time.

Saw the movie...the first half was alright and if it ended there it would have been a decent flick.
But sadly it continued and did the whole "characters going into the real world" plot device that ruins alot of films but in this case it did it so late in the film and barely did anything with the whole thing and felt really, really tacked on.

I actually enjoyed the film surprisingly. Minor thing I dislike is Tigger’s fur looking so washed out/discoloured. He’s my fav lol.
