Cool! I have that panda minifig as well so I'll have to try something similar. I made a Usagi the other day using the series 7 Bunny Suit Guy.
EDIT: would anyone recommend the Nick lair? I've been thinking about buying it before it retires, I have all wave 1 sets except it.

I have Nick Lair, it's awesome. And having Splinter is a plus.

im nkt a lego collector because i couldn't afford it but movie splinter and shredder suck they're a reuse of the nick heads and it look like crap .

i love these! the detail of the bay turtles is so badass. love the style that differs from the nick versions, making them stand out.

Well guys, a TON of leaked images of LEGO 2015 sets has found its way online.

None of the sets are Ninja Turtles.

This does not mean the line is over. There could be some in the later half of 2015. They could even wait to continue the line in 2016 if they wanted, assuming they keep the license.

The sales of the existing LEGO TMNT sets are really important in determining if they continue it though. Make sure you buy some if they interest you and you want to see them continue.

However, the good news is that LEGO has some AMAZING things coming out in 2015 even if there is not currently news of new TMNT stuff. It's an awesome time to be into LEGO.

Sucks big time that they've not announced a third wave for TMNT

I know the line isn't dead, but I always feel if they start missing products from their future releases entirely it more or less means they probably won't be continuing with that line

I'm okay if there's no more Lego TMNT. All good things come to an end. Even the lego hobbits, star wars, lotr, etc.

Anyway, my Leatherhead, Kirby Bat and Spiderbytez sets should arrive today. So excited!!

I get you, but I always feel unless Lego cover more important characters the line's ending seems like such a waste. The Lord Of The Rings had so much more potential than the waves we got and I feel like there's a lot more characters from the Nick cartoon that they could have tackled in the TMNT line yet

Relax guys. Lego TMNT is not over. We *just* got wave 2 a couple months ago. We are still in season 2, the show has at least 2 more seasons to go. And honestly, there's not much that calls for a set just yet besides minifigures ... most of which will need their own 1-time-use molds. All the bases have been covered pretty well. I'd expect to see a 3rd wave surface around NYTF 2015.

I did just get the Lego Hobbit Lonely Mountain with Smaug & The Witch-King Battle sets which are both amazing!

I am reading reports that LEGO Retail stores have many TMNT sets on discount!

Call your local store or go there yourself and check it out.

i just had a thought, wouldnt it be nice if they had a set of turtles based on the 84 mirage comics in b/w? like a comic con exclusive, then re-release them in retail which includes the building, foot soldiers, and the shredder but in color?

one can dream....which i had. dreamt it a few nights ago.

I will soon be the owner of Turtle Lair Invasion because I found one on sale for $74!

So the only TMNT LEGO set out of all the retail sets released which I don't own is the Big Rig Snow Getaway. I will snatch it as soon as I find a good sale. I'd like to get it under $60, hopefully cheaper than that.

I think we will see even more great sales on the TMNT Movie sets because I don't think they are selling as good as the cartoon sets. Once Christmas buying season kicks into gear.
