This is killer awesome news! I'm so in love with the stuff IDW is cranking out for TMNT-I'm glad there's even more coming.

If #8 was Fugitoid, I might have an absolute fit of joy. I sincerely hope he's in the cards for this canon.

Well to each his own, but I always thought that was a disadvantage to Mirage's Shredder. I like villains that are a tad relatable, we all have dark sides. For instance, in Thor's movie Loki was an extremely likable villain. Not that I want to like Shredder or anything, but I think understanding why the villain constantly chooses evil is an interesting concept.

I don't see it as a mind bender. They could just give a teaser, like they did with Bebop & Rock.

We've got plenty of Casey and Raph yeah, but he hasn't had any panel-time with Leo, Don or Mike.

True, but is that really important? I guess to Casey fans, but to me Casey is Raph's friend, although he has strong ties with the others in some incarnations...I don't need to see him interact with any other Turtle but Raph, save maybe Donatello - Mirage Donnie obviously didn't really get along with the guy, but this new IDW Don may get along with him better.

Agreed, but this isn't Mirage Shredder. I'd personally really like to know what makes this Shredder tick. He's never really been a villain with an understandable motive.

I might well say this because after Leonardo, Casey is probably my 2nd favorite character, but I think it is important. I think Casey does just as much to tie the guys to the outside world as April does and I also think he's as sympathetic and dynamic of a character.

I also loved Leo's and Casey's relationship in the 4Kids cartoon (Casey's obvious respect for Leo and Leo eventually treating Casey almost like another one of his brothers to look after) and I would love to see something like that developed again.

woah, wilson III's art really does it for me I must say...it has substance, something that I miss very dearly in the ongoing series so far...anyway, i would be happy to get a fugitoid micro, too...but I for me have to say I think this character is so much a peter laird character that it is hard to imagine that someone else could really contribute something worthwhile..I am interested in finding out if such a task was possible though...

More Hamato Yoshi/Oroku Saki backstory is always good. I think this issue will feel like a sequel to #5.

Wow, I'm really feeling Wilson's art. Like powder said, its got a lot of emotion and the linework gives it some grit. Can't wait for this issue!

On a side note, I'd like to see a shredder, rat king, and leatherhead micro. Though I'm sure RK and LH would need to be intro'd first.

Do you actually believe IDW would allow continuity to be messed up this early in the series? The series is streamlined, I doubt we'll ever get out-of-continuity stories.
