Favorite TMNT pet they keep in their lair from the various series?
What was your favorite pet?
There's Klunk, a normal cat in both Mirage and 4kids. There's Ice cream Kitty from Nick, as well as Spike/Chompy from Nick. There's Pepperoni a small dino in IDW. The original cartoon also had a few pet animals that were only in one episode each. Which is your favorite? |

Klunk. It's the most human, the most relatable, and the most believable.
Also, it's original. Mirage FTW.

Pepperoni
Sure, there are some issues with her. Like how she can breathe and how modern food would probably be screwing up her guts (I imagine Churk and Yoom being extremely upset with Raphael should they ever meet her. "Why are you letting her eat that!? Oh my god, she's going to get fat!"), but the idea is really cute, as well as Pepperoni herself.

What, no Anchovi? Lol. It was a REALLY tough choice, so I went with Klunk. But ICK and Pepperoni were both a very close second. Spike and Chompy are both fun too. And the ORIGINAL Pigeon Pete, who was actually in two eps if memory serves. Mike found him in a seperate episode from the main one he appeared in (Whats Michelangelo Good For) IIRC. Can't remember which one though. Pete was a lot smarter in the OT than his later mutant versions would suggest though.

I'm a Mirage guy, so I love Klunk, but it's no contest. Ice Cream Kitty takes all. Love that little critter.

Klunk. Love the little guy. The Tales issue still hits me in the feels every time I read it.

Klunk wins because he's just an ordinary everyday cat. This juxtaposition to the extraordinary turtles illuminates how they can be these nonhuman mutations that still exhibit very human feelings, and so Klunk loves them all the same. Beauty's in the eye of the BumbleBee(tuna)holder.

I'm kinda surprised neither IDW nor Nick decided to bring back Klunk, and instead gave the Turtles all new pets.

Anchovy is the velociraptor in Turtles in Time. I wouldn't count him as a turtle pet, since he got lost in the portal and is now stuck with Bebop and Rocksteady. He'd probably end up being their pet. Which...likely won't be pretty.

Come on, how can I even pick? lol
If I must choose, then I suppose Klunk gets first pick. After all, I had wished he'd have shown up in 2016's lair. Just some real kitty hanging out in the background or across a live action mutant Turtle's lap, without a care in the world nor any comprehension that the people he owns aren't quite human. (Damn it, I want a third film, or just a short film, just for stuff like this! lol) Although Spike gets an honorable mention in the non-cat department for being a turtle (ok tortoise) owned by an evolved Turtle, so to speak. Comparatively, it always made me think it was kind of like the equivalent of those people who own some type of tiny monkey. |

Klunk, it's so simple, just a stray cat.

I'm tied between Klunk and Pepperoni, Ice cream kitty is like was said earlier essentially a mutated Klunk so I lump her in to. I do enjoy Mikey's interactions with her. The card game scene being my personal favorite.
