RaphaelinSTL's TMNT Collection

Hello!

I've gotten back into collecting as much TMNT stuff as possible. I've owned several TMNT toys since I was young, but know it's time for me to dig deep...find my collection and start a new! I'll be posting random finds that I'm more aware of through digging downstairs as well as any other new TMNT purchases I make.

Join me, won't you?

Here's the beginning...it's small so far as I know I have more downstairs but it's a start! Looking to get a new apartment soon too so I'll for sure be making a display section.

Thank you kindly!! I was able to locate some great figures downstairs after I posted this but unfortunately, most of the Turtles figures have belts missing....or other TMNT related characters have many accessories missing. =/

It's a shame. I wish I could go back and tell 7 year old me "STOP LOSING THINGS! YOU'RE GONNA STILL ENJOY THIS STUFF 20 YEARS LATER!"

Totally - I want to go back and talk to my early 20's self and tell them to stop giving away the 2k3 merchandise they'd bought!

Got some more stuff headed my way, but I was able to add two new figures to my collection of new purchases. As you can see in the above picture, I have an original 1988 Raphael in the package and chances are if I get any more in that style, it'll just be any 1988 original to keep MOC. However, I couldn't help myself and bought a 1988 classic collection re-release of Krang to open. I got something I'm really pumped on hopefully coming in the mail tomorrow.

OH! And I was able to finally locate a 1990 TMNT Classic Collection Michelangelo after every single TRU around me has been sold out for a week. Got it on Amazon Prime with free shipping. =)

Anyway, I took this picture as it has me pumped! This is how TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze should've went down.

Been awhile since I posted in here I guess, haha.

Well since 2014, I bought a house and my girlfriend moved in with me and we got a cat.

I'm going to eventually turn a side in our spare room into a little TMNT collection area with the NECA 1/4 1990 figures displayed underneath my Rich Kelly MONDO 1990 and 1991 movie posters. Here's a little preview of them!

My awesome brother also got me the bootlegged color bandanna NECA figures as well, but I'm wondering if I'll have them in the spare or keep them around my desk when I find another job. More to come soon!

Welp, it took a few years and moving but I finally was able to get a collection display going ... and not at all like I thought it would've been in 2017!

So I had the 1/4th figures of the four Turtles and Shredder (still do), but once GameStop started offering those single packs ... I had to grab all of them. Originally I was just going to stick with the movie line as I had Tokka/Rahzar, Super Shredder, and Casey too but I actually inherited the SDCC 2017 Toon pack after my brother sadly passed and I fell in love with them so I went out and got a bunch more.

At our other house, we just didn't have the area to display anything like I had in my mind so when I was finally able to get my own office space, I knew I wanted to get a display cabinet.

Got this one off WayFair, and it's nice but boy was it kind of a pain in the ass to put it together. Originally I had paid for a WayFair assembly team person to come over and help, but I had three people cancel on me the morning of ... so I ended up putting it together with a buddy of mine and it took us almost three hours. I love the way it looks, but something was off with my right cabinet door as it doesn't align properly. It's not terribly noticeable, but still ...

Might have to find a new home for my original MOC Playmates figures and decided to probably just keep the Musical Mutagen (Coming Out of Their Shells) figures in their box set. Might do the same thing when TMNT III figures hit with that rumored box set this year.

The risers I got turned out nice I think! Didn't think I'd be able to get everything in there, let alone with potential room to spare with whatever else drops this year.

Waiting on my last riser set for the bottom shelf today!
