A few people have claimed to have seen the designs, I'm sure they can confirm this is real. So disappointing. This will be all over the internet soon so maybe the backlash will force them to release official pics to spin the bad word of mouth.

What the Shell is that?!? That can't be the default look! Looks more like one of those whacked variants from the vintage toyline!

Hate to say it. This seems legit. The tatoo on his arm - same as the poster we've all seen:

I wouldn't buy into it fits the descibtions because whoever photoshopped this read the same stuff we did, so that makes no since. With that said it might be real . Love me some turtle lips. joking...

We need that one guy to confirm and comment on the costume. Maybe he can shed light on how different or similar the real movie designs are.

This I'd exactly why out seems super fake. The textures like mashed together half heartedly. And the it's next top no surprise to what it looks like Cuz whoever photoshopped this just mashed things into the photo based off of vague descriptions. Plus there is not proof this even came close to coming from somewhere reputable

I think it is Photoshopped. I don't know, something looks...off about it.

It better be Photoshopped.

All thing from a vague description. Plus the shoes are from the wearer not the costume if you look closely

I'm literally LOL'ing looking at this thing. Especially when I zoom in and give it a good look.

Haahahahahaa. Whether this is real or a joke, it's completely funny and laughable.

Why isn't anybody questioning the source of this information? (Yet I do recognize people are suspicious of the costume design.) Uh... and how come the link has nothing but asterisks? It's hard to take that costume with any degree of seriousness if there's no official link of a store (i.e. Halloween USA) claiming an "officially licensed" 2014 costume. Or unless some can post a legit site including it to support this image.

...But the reactions in this thread sure are hilarious.

Here's a blog entry and a tweet from Jared Krichevsky, credited on IMDB as "creature designer" for the film.

Okay everyone. Here it is, now it's a halloween costume, so don't take it as the be all end all of the design. bUT I'm so excited seeing this start to come to fruition. I spent 7 months of my life working on TMNT the movie. I'm such a huge fan and it was a dream come true to work on. I promise that the designs are cool and that movie is going to be a lot of fun. I'll be posting more as it develops! Here's the LINK to the article [Thanks to ******************************]

Are we good, now?

Are we good, now?
"The coolest thing about this new Turtles look is that Paramount really seems to be taking a more authentic Samurai Warrior/ Japanese culture approach toward the Turtles and we think that is a pretty cool thing. It would certainly be consistent in regards to original vision of Turtles creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, wouldn’t it?"

Who the F&*K are they kidding???? LOL

I saw this on FB and thought I'd check out the storm it caused on the boards. Wasn't disappointed. I've tried really hard to stay positive about the film, and I'm going to keep trying. It's a kid costume, not final look. Who knows when we see it fully rendered it might look passible.
