But personally I just prefer to believe the mutation would have gained them a human-like lifespan so they can make it to 80 or so.)
Yeah I don't really care for that scientific accuracy.

Don't rats live very short lives? Yet Splinter clearly lives a long time, even in the versions where he has been a rat all along

True, he'd have dropped dead when they were still toddlers, how sad.

Spoiler:
Thus human Yoshi hears and rescues a bunch of rather unusual babies and continues to raise them as his own, but in his NYC apparent.

I know that this might be an odd question, but:

How come we never actually see the Turtles' using the restroom?

I always found that ... unsettling.

You actually wanna see them use it?

Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building. I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Well, I've always wondered if they ever brushed their teeth, or even washed their hands.

Even though I've never seen them use it, they've always seemed so ... clean. ( Like, how are their teeth even white? )

? I can live without seeing them taking a P,(did you mean bathroom in general?) erm..and teeth, well they look clean to me. We don't see April brush her hair but she would do. I imagine within their situation Splinter would have taught them to wash. There was a hint that Mikey smelled so I assumed that meant the others didn't.

They use the bathroom in Mirage/4kids, at the very least. There's really no need to see it, but yeah, there have been moments where a turtle's shower is interrupted & that sorta thing.

I'm pretty sure there was a scene where they fought over who would use it early in 2003.

Also in IDW, as soon as they arrived in Northhampton, Michelangelo...eh...got first dibs and ruined it for whoever was next.

Hey, some things still should be left up to interpretation. lol I mean, obviously they would have a bathroom and were seemingly taught proper hygiene (some probably adhering to it better than others...), but it doesn't seem like too many of their sort of show actually goes into it very often anyhow. Although, if this next one is more like some other kinds of shows Nick does, maybe you'll get your wish.

You want proof they have the proper facilitates at home... Donnie, given that he's got his hands in building their vehicles and whatnot, isn't going around covered in grease stains all the time, is he?

Why do people tend to name Michelangelo as the "cutest turtle"?

Sans Rise!, he never looked nor appeared all that different from his brothers. In fact, until recently, he had nearly the same body type/ head shape as his bros. ( In Mirage, he looked exactly like all the other turtles! )

Since Rise!Mike appears to be both the smallest and the roundest of them all, I could kind of see why people would label him the "cutest". But still ...

So, is it some sort of a personal preference? Is it because of personality, taste, aesthetic, etc.?

It just ... never made sense to me.

It's his behavior/attitude. & you could definitely say he was made to be the cute looking one in the original film.

That could be explained by the mutagen.

Imo, it's just kind of a youngest sibling trope/stereotype of a youngest claiming to be the cutest, funniest, etc. The typical youngest who may try to charm their way through anything. In-show sibling dynamics more than actual visual aesthetics. Mikey claims it so people go with it.

Spoiler:
But man would it all hit the fan hard if "Rise" took this (being the "cute, funny one") away... A dull Mikey could potentially make it tank.

Though, with that in mind, a zoned-out ultra chill "hippy" Mike might be interesting to see. A kind that needs to be tied to a string so he doesn't float away in a state of zen. Much more so than the "surfer dude" Mike, but maybe one where April might get concerned that he might have eaten something he shouldn't without realizing.

Hey, I just realized...

So far in the "Turtles do their own adventures" stories of Universe, a new character has been introduced.

Raphael's introduced Krisa and Donatello's introduced Ch'rell. So, who's to say Mike and Leo aren't going to get someone new in?
