Yeah, FCBD happens at the same time as #46. Some thing in 46 happen before FCBD, some things happen after. It 'adds up' but I don't suggest spending much time thinking about it-- not too important

I went to my comic shop on Saturday and when I asked about IDW's TMNT offering the owner said its one of a few it did not get. Did the IDW offering not get to all shops? It was very disappointing. Is it worth buying for about 7 dollars or so on Ebay if I am getting ongoing since #1 and the minis will it be okay to miss out? Tom and Bobby's opinions are welcome. Just don't want to miss anything of this excellent series.

It's up to each shop to determine which and how many of any individual FCBD book to order (they do have to pay a small price too, so-- not free for them!). So I would imagine not all did get TMNT.
Do what you want, but I would not advocate paying $7 for the book. It's meant to be free. We put hard work into it all parts of it, but 50% of it is "old" material, and there's nothing crucial in it that you will miss if you're already buying the ongoing book. |

Out of curiosity is the content of the FCBD issue going to be in the trade when it comes out? It might just be easier to get it that way than pay for something that's intended to be free.

Still pisses me off that I drove all over town to four different shops and TMNT was out at every one by noon. I wish IDW would just sell the damn thing on their site. |

My comic place didn't have a problem getting the TMNT comic in. They did, however, not get any of the Archaia comic in by comparison. So yeah, it can be somewhat hit or miss on that front. Not that it should be hard to find post date, you'd think. I'm actually getting the Archaia comic from Jetpack, along with the variant Mouse Guard issue, and the bookplate

I don't remember where I saw the previews before, but I assumed Donny rescuing his bro's from Bludgeon and Koya would be in TMNT #46, not the FCBD. Hope that gets shown again in the ongoing comic... would love to see that fight in a bit more detail.

That's all I have to go on... I thought about getting the issue, but I like sleep more.

Has anyone else had trouble finding this book? I have all the tmnt titles in my pull list at my LCS and they keep saying that diamond is shorting certain shops their orders. Just wondering if it was only my LCS or if anyone else has had this problem.
Also if anyone can help a dude get his hand on #45 that'd be awesome. |

Might be off the back of #44, so shops were ordering more. #45 is going to a second print apparently.

Brilliant! Finally get to see some FCBD work. Nowhere near me was involved so I had to find this online. No such luck with the Batman work but hey ho.
#45 was a mixed bag for me - http://www.superdstuff.com/2015/05/tmnt-45.html I don't know, it just didn't hit the spot. Maybe my expectations are just too high now and when I'm not wowed by the choices made it's disappointing.

Well, maybe not decay in that sense, but inactivity and a general low input of nutrients will cause degradation in a physical body, especially muscle wastage.
