Wow! These are exactly what I've been looking for! Powder, how would you feel about me using your work in a TMNT mod I'm working on? If you could do some extended versions of some of those songs, they'd make great music for the missions, and I've been trying to find something just like this!

I figured I'd give this a bump as some people have been asking about the OT soundtrack lately. Plus, if anyone shows interest it'll be an incentive for me to get back to work on this project. Should such be the case, I'll ask again for y'all to give me suggestions. Post clips of the songs you'd like to see done and all.

You and anyone else are more than welcome to use this music in videos, games, whatever. Just as long as I'm given some sort of credit, it's totally cool.

Okay, I had time to listen to all your stuff so far and am requesting you give the "Krang theme" a shot!

If by some chance you could find a clip on youtube that has it in the background, that'd be great. I could do my best to remake it at that point.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siZSM9tfsgU Off the top of my head, it plays in "Mean Machines" the first time we see Krang sitting in the Technodrome. It's tough to find TMNT cartoon clips on Youtube since Lionsgate has really been shutting all that down.

& yeah, Lionsgate has been quite difficult. It's stupid, really. If I wanted to buy the DVD's as a casual fan, I'd want to re-familiarize myself via YT clips.

Another tune I'd like you to replicate is the ominous theme that sorta reminds me of Hitchcock's Psycho. It plays in "The Cat Woman from Channel Six" when the mutated April corners Splinter in the sewer. I included a few clips from that part in one of my TMNT: Gone Wrong! parody episodes: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xbe...isode-4-di_fun

Hey! You guys gave me a new idea. When I get back to my Ninja Turtles 25 Years website project, I will add an Audio section to each Ninja Turtle media format. But it will be playable on the site, but I don't know how to make a download through Webs' SiteBuilder features. Of course I will put my top favorite 1987 clips first in order as I liked them:
1. "Return Of The Technodrome" - Shredder/Splinter fight on the catwalk 2. "Teenagers From Dimension X" - Cyber Punks 3. "The Big Zipp Attack" - Dude dancing to his radio on the sidewalk 4. 1994 - 1996 Closing and Opening theme. 5. Some of the action scenes during the 1993 season. Not the Europe ones I'll try to get the versions of all the soundtracks that I find, but with the least voice acting and sound effects. Oh I nearly forgot a few more favorites of mine. 1. "Return Of The Shredder" - April's Theme or Channel 6 Theme 2. "Blast From The Past" Japanese History 3. "Attack Of The Big MACC" - Luxurating |

did my own little modifications to technodrome and channel 6 for a slightly closer sound. In the drome noise, there is no loud symbol like clash in the middle so I took that out, as well as the staticy thump in the beginning and middle |

For the Channel 6 one, I modified the tempo of it and the pitch so it more closely matched the one heard during Burnes Blues press/trunk scene.

Excellent work with the recreated tracks, Powder. Have you tried your hand at some of these:
these first two opening songs from the series have a real groovy atmosphere to them, I'd love to hear them in full. And the faster tempo, more synthy reprise of "Home Sweet Home" @ 1:40 tops my most wanted list as well. Last edited by dcat; 02-14-2011 at 08:15 AM. |
