I've just been saying "Hacker"...mostly due to a certain evil green robot genius voiced by Christopher Lloyd from my childhood...("THE Hacker, to you!")

Hi Bobby, Len Wein is one of two writers that can top IDW's Turtle Team(the other is Denny O'Neil). It struck me to learn of his passing. I was wondering if you had any memories associated with his work or any inspiration from him? Thanks.

Hey sorry, I think I saw this fleetingly and got distracted!

I don't have any personal memories of Len or anything like that. Being 36, I missed reading a lot of his work directly. Clearly his work has made a huge impact on the industry and owes a lot to him. I was more of a Marvel kid than a DC kid, so I love the characters he introduced. I've heard nothing but great things about him from other professionals who have worked and knew him.

No plans at this time. Enjoyed seeing him at SDCC this last year though!

TMNTU #16 & #17: is this story arc titled "Freedom" or "From the Heart, For the Herd"?

There is conflicting information between the November and December solicitations

Hey Bobby, with all the talk about the Nick finale recently it got me thinking. I know 100 is going to be like 50, wrapping a lot of stuff up and setting up new plots but do you guys have a vision for where you want the series to end when the time comes?

I'm not thinking like a full plan from now till the end but more just a point you know you want to end at. Like Smallville, whether it went 7 seasons or 10 seasons the end was always going to be Clark becoming Superman. How they got there changed as they went but that was always the destination.

No, not really. In the next few months we're going to nail down a lot of the loose details on the road to #100. After that I imagine we'll have a bigger think about what comes after. Personally, I don't have a set ending in mind other than what is planned for #100. Perhaps Tom has something in mind that we haven't discussed.

I'm a little confused about Anemon's contract, why is his testimony still considered null and void because of it? They clearly state the laws it was written under no longer apply, and it's clearly worded to protect Krang's ass (or whatever Utroms have instead of one) from prosecution, so how is it still considered legitimate?

Thanks Bobby. I have to say I'm amazed at how well you and the team juggle everything and keep sowing seeds and paying them off years down the line. So few comics these days are that ambitious. I can't think of any other book I read that's been so consistent for so long. You all do an incredible job.

Thanks very much! I personally feel like maybe we bit off a little bit more than we can chew this year, but that's nice to hear!

Even if you did (I don't think so yet), IDW TMNT is really the biggest reason I have a box at my comic shop

Bobby, you and IDW may want to contact Brian Thomas and Steve Sullivan.

From what I know (emails from Sullivan or Thomas, can't remember who offhand), they own certain incidental characters they introduced in TMNT Adventures.

TMNT Adventures issues they wrote and/or pencilled include #58 and #71-72; Specials #1-2 & 11 and the April miniseries. IDW hasn't reprinted these yet, but #58 should be in the next trade (Vol. 14).

from here.

For a character so heavily featured on the covers and whose shadow currently looms over our heroes, I'm surprised we haven't even seen Maligna yet in the story itself. Does she get a good amount of paneltime in #75?

So...she's basically playing a Sauron role? Being a massive 'head threat' in the incoming ravenous swarm, but doesn't really do a lot herself, while still imposing a lot of fear in her very name?
