Good question. She is more similar to the older version of Renet from the 2012 show than all the other versions. I wouldn't be surprised if she is. She says she comes from the future as Renet 2012, her design is most similar to Renet 2012. But she is smarter and calmer.

This is also the first version of Renet who doesn't run away from Savanti Romero (or Lord Simultaneous) when she first appears. Funny, she doesn't even mention them and we don't know if they exist in this universe.

Interestingly, the past is now another alternate dimension. In fact, the Turtles now have a time machine. And Universe 87 now has multiple timelines. This could explain continuity errors in the show itself, such as Krang's real body or the Lord of the Flies episode.

Renet's design is quite nice and I hope we see more stories with her soon. I'd really like to see her without the helmet.

Yes, you are right, by the way do you think this comic retcons seasons 8-10 and in this comic universe this seasons are not canon?

The writer said that these comics are located between seasons 7 and 8. But I see a few inaccuracies in continuity (in the comic the villains already live in the Hall of Science, but in season 8 they just find it, etc.) These comics are an alternate timeline after season 7 or they come after the final season. I think the second option is more accurate, because the location of the Technodrome in issue 4 of the comic looks exactly the same as in the final episode of the animated series. Additionally, in the episode "Shredder Triumphant!" The Technodrome was fully energized, but in the comics this is clearly not the case (otherwise Krang and Shredder would have immediately returned it back to Earth). Yes, there is a contradiction in that the Channel 6 building in the comics exists again and April works there, but I think there may have been a time skip between the series finale and the comics. During this time the building was restored and April returned to work at Channel 6.
