He's really awesome and a pleasure to work with. He even lets you refuse it if you're unhappy with how it came out.

Hey speaking of commissions does anyone have Chris Allan's contact info? I'd love to get one from him too.
Wow! This is so Awesome! Congrats Spitfire

Yeah I love the gritty dark look as well, man. My idea was just to put Raph in a pile of skulls, but Dan added this badass atmosphere to it. Nailed it 1000%!!!

Well,it shows just how diverse a style he can do. From Slash vs Caey Jones to Bebop and Rocksteady to Mung. I just started communicating with Dan about a commisson. So if the Mung is any indication...I wanted a Shredder and Rat King '87 cartoon style it would not be a problem? I'd much rather have that look tapped.

Yeah, Dan has a lot of range. Back in the day he did all sorts of promotional art for toy packaging and other merchandise based out of the OT, as well as having done books for Vol. 1.
Very versatile.

I just emailed him earlier this week. I did get a reply the same day, but unfortunately he said he was too busy at the moment. =(
Maybe I will try again in a few months.

For those who don't know, Dan just recently came back from near-death and the correction of a botched surgery. Those who know him ought to give him a fond greeting.

No problem, love to spread the good word of Berger! The pic I post still doesn't do the real deal justice. Did I mention its a massive 14x17!?

I happened to touch base with him between surgeries, what a nightmare! He was still quipping away in his emails though, ever optimistic. It sounds like the corrective surgery went well then? I told him I like to think that a whole lotta bad luck just sets things up for a whole lotta good, so I hope that's coming in spades now!
