TMNT 4 concept art
I know most of you will have seen the Brendan McCarthy concept art for Steve Barron's pitch for what would have been TMNT 4 but he's recently posted an image that I'd never seen.
https://twitter.com/MysticMcCarthy EDIT Sorry wrong board. Perhaps some kind mod can move it to the regular movie board. |

Any scripts or a concrete pitch?

This looks interesting, I'm questioning why Splinter is even there. If only the 4th Movie had made it. It looks really cool. This also reminds me of concept art of Splinter from that Hallmark thing.

That's what you're looking at. In fact, it's the only concept art of Splinter for the film that's been posted online, to my knowledge.

That's interesting. Something obviously drove Splinter away. Maybe the turtles were exposed to the public somehow?

I remember seeing this once before. (Probably here?) Wish there were more images, and some context to them.
edit: I kinda like the art style. If only there was enough concept art to cover the story it would be cool to release it as a book. Spoiler:

Oh wow, never seen or was aware of this before. Love the art style. Just did a Google image search and found a few more Brendan McCarthy TMNT pics, from this "fourth movie".
Interesting to see that even back then they were thinking about adding accessories to the Turtles, like hats or tech for Donnie etc. As much as Bay Turtles annoy me, it was a natural progression that was bound to happen one day (adding accessories). It's just Bay Turtles didn't do it in the RIGHT way... Anyway, thanks for the share...again, love the art! Where can I find more?

Looks more like Splinter is dazed and confused after his ride has become detached and flown across the fair ground!

Okay, I know this might sound kind of weird, but am I the only one who's getting a somewhat depressing vibe from this?

Yeah, it does seem a bit depressing with Splinter and the run down amusement park. I sort of feel like Splinter may have been lost somewhere with amnesia to who he is.

Agreed. It looks like Splinter has Alzheimer's or dementia or something...

I wish I could say there was ever a shred for a TMNT 4 movie out there that actually looked or sounded remotely good. Sadly, just the Fusco draft that was stillborn seems to be anything resembling "good," and that's only based on Eastman saying how it was the best thing ever (which is different from how he describes any new TMNT project in no way).

That's probably the most miserable looking Splinter that's ever beheld the world, and it is glorious.

That one was going to have splinter with a monstrous secondary mutation right? Probably something to do with that.

That looks more like Salacious Crumb than Splinter to me...
