Yea I got a case on ebay as well just because one of my two sets was for someone else and I don't want to give them a busted case.

The rivets actually tore on mine so the case flops apart when you undo the latches. I was annoyed, but everything else is flawless. No derpy eyes or anything so I guess I lucked out all things considered.

I've hoarded a bunch of accessories. Also decided to not sell any more Krangs or Shredders for cheap. They're more valuable to me for customs.

At first I thought Shredder's whole upper body was the shirt, but it's actually a removable rubber piece, to recreate his vintage look. Too bad he's not as ripped as the '88 figure. I plan to customize these figures at some point.

Any idea when these will creep up on the chinese market? People on ebay are being extremely greedy atm.

I would give bootleggers at least a year since they also have to reproduce the molds in large enough quantities to sell off

i don't think you have to wait a full year before you can buy the bootlegs from China.the full set has been sold from China already just separated and the seller just got shredder left so I don't think it's that long before the full box set pop up.now it can take a little longer since it's been a lot off derpy eyes etc and neca needs replacement parts but time will tell

Hell, were already getting NECA bootleg quality figures I'd argue.

You had to search out and pay for the case or did NECA replace it?

I bought a Shredder and a Leonardo off eBay recently, as these two were my must-haves from the whole set. Out of curiosity, does anyone out there have an extra communicator accessory for Shredder? If anyone is willing to part with theirs for a decent price, just let me know. I really like that accessory, but it seems like no one is including it with Shredder in any of the auctions.

Alright thanks dude for the clarification.

Seems like people have reached out to NECA for a variety of QC issues and/or shipping problems. Now that SDCC is over I hope NECA switches gears into customer service mode. They do have a good reputation to uphold.

I didn't even ask for a new case, but even just the rivets and I would fix it myself and I got no response. Even if they could just point me to a manufacturer and I'd buy them myself. (they're ease enough to install) but I think maybe the question went over their heads...
