Did anybody else get an email from Lunar Toy Store today about Raphael order? Hopefully means they are not too far away.

Yeah it was weird. Gave me hopes that Leo and Raph is getting an early arrival.
DreamEx will be shipping out Leo and Raph before Chinese New Year at the end of the month. Probably means Lunar Toys will receive their shipment early March |

I'm expecting to hear that my order for Leo and Raph will be sent out out this week.
Then, I'd expect to see preorders for the next two. Should be a pretty awesome set when put together. |

Leo and Raph are in the house.
These do not disappoint .... The boxes are slightly taller and deeper than Casey and Shredder. This is because they are packed. Then there is a second layer of goodies: The figures are as sturdy as the first two, but noticeably heavier. Nothing frail or dainty about these guys. All of the accessories are amazing. I just had to check out those folded arms... More later. Last edited by DVD; 02-10-2017 at 11:33 PM. |

Why did they make the belt hug the shell? It wouldn't do that in real life

By using Spirit Gum, which I assume these Turtles also used to attach the shell into their backs

The gang's all here.
Well , the DreamEx gang. I've enjoyed each of these releases a lot. I spent about if time yesterday messing around with these two new Turtles and enjoyed trying out the different looks that can be achieved. I hadn't noticed tho, till I saw my own photos that the two heads are set for battle and normal mode with their eyes. Unfortunately Raph's Battle mode head has something on the nose. It didn't wipe off right away, so I'm going use a cleanser later, after confirming that it won't remove paint. I decided to load the guys up with all bags and the grapple. On the shelf, I think they look amazing. |

Just got the shipping confirmation for my Raph and Leo from Lunar.
So excited!! Guess now we play the waiting game on Krang and/or Mikey and Donnie. Hopefully we'll get some news at toy fair. |

My wallet is thankful that I do not like what I see.
They appear to be a hodgepodge of different textures, shading techniques, and styles. For instance the face appears very smooth, while there are very rough textures on the body and very angular textures on the feet. The knee and arm pads look odd because the body is so heavily shaded and they appear not to be. Also the heads seem too small for the bodies. While the crossed arm attachment is a cool feature, overall these look rushed out and unrefined to me. I really like the Shredder, but Casey and especially the turtles don't do anything for me. Yay! I get to save money! Now this is my critique and opinion. I don't want to rain on anyone's else's parade. I'm glad you are enjoying them. |

These latest photos do make them seem a bit underwhelming, particularly Raph. Mine shipped, though, so now I shall see for myself...

I have Shred and Casey, which I think are both extremely well done. I think I'll stick to just Don for now with these. Kinda bummed out, these look amazing at reveal.

The heads aren't as smooth as my pics make out.
They have a textured top working down to a smooth face. I'm liking the whole package to be honest. Don in a coat and hat will be pretty amazing, and then Mikey with his skateboard. And of course the must have completion of the pizza !! Haha!! |
