It has nothing to do with the main series, it's a separate special show aimed for little kids.

Maybe we're going to see this if we have a sequel:

Kate Mulgrew cameo as
Spoiler:
Triceraton General Zera
.

So we've had Kate, Michael Dorn... can we get some Sir Patrick Stewart?

Although he was in the 2007 film with Nolan and Kevin.

Was any one else bothered by the scientific inaccuracies of the dinosaurs ( such as a lack of feathers on T Rex and Raptors and Raptors being smart when they weren't intelligent animals). I know it's a special for pre school kids but I was still kinda bothered by the fact that they used Jurassic Park as a reference for science, although I really liked how Donnie mentioned the T-Rex had good vision. I still enjoyed it though and can't wait to see more.

I thought I recognized her voice so we have another voice actor from Gargoyles in TMNT

Until someone manages to recreate a dinosaur, all information we have about dinosaurs is speculative. Yes we can look at currently existing animals and their traits and estimate what dinosaurs were like, but it's still guesswork at the end of the day, as it is with a lot of things.

Seeing as we had a load of horror actors in for season three, maybe they're getting all the sci-fi actors in for Half Shell and season 4?

Michael Dorn, David Tennant, Kate Mulgrew.

Anyone from Blake Seven or StarGate popping in?

Does it take place in another universe? Like the 2003 and 1987 series?

No, it's just TMNT special 2D cartoon, aimed for little kids to promote the Half Shell Heroes Toy Line.
