I picked up the Fishface set which is only what my store had. Really fun set to put together and the figures are awesome.

I know hard to find is a farce. It does however have restrictions at tru.... They don't apply promos to htf items if you read policies

LEGO is now all over eBay, but be prepared to shell out a premium of course.

The toys r us prices are different between districts. On the shipping boxes the showed the krang set as 17.99, but when we printed the shelf labels they are actually 14.99 and the van is 69.99 instead of 79.99.....

TRU generally marks up LEGO prices by 10-20%, I used to work there and even with my discount, it was cheaper to buy them at Target, Wal-Mart or Fred Meyer... The only time it is good to buy from TRU is when they are running a BOGO 50% off sale, and even then, you need to be choosey to make sure you are getting the best deal. As bad as I want these sets, I can wait until they come out in the other chains of stores.

If you live near a Fred Meyer, mostly located in the Northwest, they generally have a 10% off coupon weekly... I actually picked up most of the Hobbit sets last week and got 30% off of them due to FM having a one day 30% off LEGO coupon... I wish they had they TMNT in stock...

I live in North Portland, and checked a few Fred Meyer stores for these, no such luck.

I can't find this anywhere. ebay is freaking expensive, amazon doesn't ship to my country.

I'm gonna go cry in the shower now.

They're up for pre order on Lego.com, and they're cheaper than Toys R Us too. For example, TRU wants $17.99 for the Kraang lab escape set, where Lego.com has it for only $12.99

In Az they were fully stocked. At least 10 of each at both locations. So either they just put them out of no one is buying them. Except me hahahahahahahahhha. I only got them because I get 20% off otherwise I would have waited to get them at target.

Lego won't let you buy them till the 24th according to the current listing. But you can browse the product page.

I would prefer to get them from amazon... faster shipping, even if lego.com were a little cheaper. I hate having to wait a full week to get my orders.

For reference here is the markups toysrus.com is advertising based on the MSRP prices straight from lego (rounded up to nearest percent):

79100 Kraang Lab Escape - 90 pieces, $12.99 TRU price: 17.99 (39% higher)
79101 Shredder's Dragon Bike - 198 pieces, $24.99 TRU price 34.99 (40% higher)
79102 Stealth Shell Persuit - 162 pieces, $19.99 TRU price: $27.99 (40% higher)
79103 Turtle Lair Attack - 488 pieces, $49.99 TRU does not seem to carry this
79104 The Shellraiser Street Chase - 620 pieces, $59.99 TRU price: 79.99 (34% higher)
79105 Baxter Robot Rampage (Hard to Find) - 397 pieces, $39.99 TRU price 34.99 (12% higher)

If you can get a good discount via coupons or promotions, more power to you, for everyone else, for every set other than the Baxter set it is probably worth waiting it out unless you are impatient

If you have to have them for Christmas you can pay crazy TRU prices now. These sets will be easy to find for 20-30% off early next year once all retailers stock them and offer sales. There are so many online and retail stores to buy LEGO from that you can always find a deal.

Great find. Really enjoyed the video, especially the concept art shown and the sculpting process.
