I am pretty sure the guy that was in charge of posing him just screwed up. Its a shame too cause I think it will put people off of him because of it.
I am sure the official photos will make the helmet look fine. That display reeks of the cap pushing up on the back of the helmet and screwing everything up.

I did a height comparison picture, with Revoltech Leo, SH Figuarts Michael Jackson, NEVA Shredder and Marvel Legends Daredevil.
MJ is the only other SHF I have that isn't a Turtle or a Mario Bros, Leo is a bit on the large size, but I don't know how the Real-Life Person SHF figures measures in scale compared to other SHF figures, I know that the Bruce Lee SHF figure is really short at 5.5". And a picture of Raph wearing a coat from a old Sting Wrestling figure. Took a quick time down the storage locker and tested Toybiz Marvel Legends Beast's labcoat and box-set Gambit's trenchcoat. The labcoat was an obvious fit, cause Beast is... a beast lol, he's a big figure, so the coat was a bit big, but with some cutting and sewing and maybe a belt it'll be fine. Gambit's coat on the other hand did not fit, I did manage to get both arms inside the coat arms, but the coat is way too small since Gambit is a anorexic figure and Raph got a huge shell. There even got a small tear in the coat from trying to wedge Raph in there, maybe the single Gambit's coat can fit better since it's cloth and not fake leathery material. I don't have a fitting hat, SHF Michael Jackson's hat is white and way too small for the SHF Turtles Last edited by Candy Kappa; 02-21-2017 at 08:58 AM. |

So I'm guessing since I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, there was no news about the future of the line given at Toyfair? Obviously we saw Shredder again, but even if we didn't see any other new figures, I was hoping to at least get confirmation that they were planning to do more. Splinter would be the obvious next choice.
But I guess it could be just that none of the journalists there were enough of a TMNT fan to ask the Tamashii Nation reps about it. |

Nothing new was shown or spoken of, right.

We'll probably not get more info when Tamashii has their show in Japan. Or...maybe not..,

I figure it will be at least until Shredder is up for order. Isn't that about when we first heard about Shredder?

Are these figures likely to rocket in price after a while? I'm thinking of selling off some of my collection to fund these, but I fear its gunna take some time to do so.
Would hate to get that far and find I can no longer afford them... Also, how do they scale with the party wagon?

They're too large for the Party Wagon, at least for practical use, they wouldn't fit comfortably, though it works as a background prop however. A lot of the other vehicles work well with them. The Cowabunga Carl Van is perfect fit however.

In the quest for a fitting coat for the Turtles, if you got $80 to spare, Mezco's One:12 Collective Old Man Logan got a leather coat.

Have you tried Marvel Legends Trenchcoat Thing? He's not too expensive and some of them still have the fedora Thing wore.

No, I don't own a ML Thing, but I did mentioned him in a older post when finding fitting coats and hats for the Turtles, the fedora is probably the best one for a 1:12th figure. Donno about the coat, but it looks like it's very similar to Beast's lab coat which is a bit on the big side for a SHF Turtle.
I think one of the Marvel Legends Punisher comes with a soft goods coat too, but it's probably black. |

I think the trench that comes with the movie version is a bit more fitted, but I don't have one in hand to judge, just from looking at photo, s with could be wrong.

I got an Ikea Synas box - really nice actually. Keeps the dust off.
Made me think about a diorama using this as reference:
