I knew they came in a case but didnt know if the case was the acutaly box or they were still in another box.

I apparently I did the calculations wrong and thought these were coming out to pre-order at 22:00 in Spain, but it was at 19:00...

BUT I HAD NOTHING ELSE TO DO TODAY AND GOT MY SET!!!

If they shipped it like this without it inside another box with padding they'd have a lot of upset collectors.

Drat, I went for a bathroom break and came back in time to get it in my cart and start filling out my shipping info and then BAM. Sold out before I could finish filling out the shipping info. Oh well, I should've held it in.

Anyone know if the next batches will go up at the same time over the next couple of days?

I was on the site 2 minutes after 10:00am pst and they were already sold out how is this possible? What time did they actually show up for sale?

They probably come in a shipping box, but I'd imagine the collectors case is substituting for a retail box.

About 5 mins early. They are known to put stuff up earlier than they say. Ive even seen them post stuff 30 mins early.

about 4ish minutes early. I started watching about 20 minutes early though. I wasn't gonna miss these.

9:55 WA time and sold out I think about 10:02. I received my email confirmation at 9:56 from NECA and 9:57 from PayPal. PayPal makes it so quick to checkout by already having all your shipping details. Highly recommend it.

Good news is that even though it sold out FAST... the site was also incredibly fast and responsive. If you were at your comp/phone/whatever and ready, you had a really good chance to get one.

In contrast, sites like Hasbro Toy Shop which also carry SDCC exclusives start crawling worse than a slow dialup connection. A lot of people find that by the time they are able to get to checkout, the items are sold out already. Very frustrating. Very thankful this was not like that (though I still have to live though that agony this year when they put up their Marvel/Star Wars SDCC exclusives, sigh)

Try to get one in the following days, guys! Be ready and refreshing the site 10 mins early to be sure. Good luck

That sold out super quick. Was there a limit on how many you can buy per day? hopefully I can get one tomorrow or the day after. If not I'll just wait for those overseas releases.

Yea no doubt. Create an account, log in ahead of time, and use paypal to check out. Done in about 45 seconds.

Glad paypal works for you guys. I used my CC though. Chrome and Safari let you save CC details and it will autofill very fast. You just have to enter your CVV (usually 3 digits) and you're done.

Also the site when you load it on iPhone says it supports Apple Pay... that would be even faster. Though I haven't tested it on there so I don't know if it actually works.
