You could burn the missing episodes to disc and make your disc art and put it in the set.
See these Stone Temple Pilots discs:. I made those - the discs, disc art, case art and inserts and printing. Most people would never know that they weren't mass manufactured bootlegs. Given the "print on demand" nature of the Y2K set, it's not too much of a stretch to just complete it on your own uniformly. |

I'm still trying to get the spare set of the older 2003 DVD's sold. I have a listing up on eBay it has 3 watchers but I'm not sure if they have any intention of buying the set or not. I might just lower the price on them to try to get them sold quicker. Probably less people interested in buying them as well thanks to streaming and people would probably just prefer to buy the Ultimate Collection box set to save money. I have too many DVD's taking up space in the house My uncle's house is even worse, his living room has towers of DVD's and Blu-ray's stacked up everywhere along with books and magazines He said when he passes away he wants me to have his whole DVD and Blu-ray collection but I told him that I wasn't taking them that I have enough already I've been handing in a bunch of DVD's to charity shops as well but since I did pay a bit over £700 for the older 2003 TMNT DVD's I'm trying to make back a bit of money.

Someday someone is going to come up with a truly great idea for reuse of old DVD's that is better than "use them for coasters or art".
But on that note, some years back I sent a stack of old discs to this recycling place I found online. Basically they where taking old CDs, CD-Rs, etc and they would grind them into a powder that was then used to make resin. It was cool. I can't find them online now, so maybe they don't do it anymore, but it was finally a place to properly or usefully dispose of old discs. It was cool. |

I have watched it on VHS, DVD, Youtube, Amazon, 'other places', and I have also bought it in its entirety on AppleTV (last summer).
It's a tremendous show. I also own all the episodes of 1987 (though in region 1 unfortunately) and own 2012 on the PS Store. 2003 is my favourite though. I think I have seen it through 8 or 9 times since 2006 (when season 4 finished). I love how it's most serialised. Last edited by The Inventive Donatello; 01-09-2024 at 12:56 AM. |

I just finished watching it again today, I watched the whole show twice a few months apart The 2003 show definitely has my favourite character designs and stories. Pity they changed the art style and tone in Fast Forward and Back To The Sewer. Seasons 1-5 are brilliant though. It's sort of weird in Turtles Forever when the 2003 and 80's turtles go to the 80's universe you see human Bebop and Rocksteady even though they're already mutated

So I got the DVD set because I'm going to need an official reference for something I'm planning, even got a region free player for it.
You, I'm happy that Paramount finally bothered to have the full series released and all but Jesus Christ, this has to be the ugliest edition of the show. I get remastering might be necessary for blu-ray and that doesn't always come out right, but this show was made back when DVDs were the norm, what's the point in this botched attempt? I know they have better masters too, I've seen what the Paramount+ release looks like, it's not great but at least it doesn't look as bad as the DVD. |

Because it just reminds me of how much time has really passed! It feels like just yesterday that 2k3 was on T.V., airing alongside Star Trek Enterprise.
But you know... it wasn't yesterday. |

They have a listing on eBay, the box set is weird, on the front of the cover it's the 2003 turtles but on the back of the box it's about the 1987 turtles. The box set has the first 2 seasons of the 1987 show.

The year 2005 feels like yesterday to me. I have not moved on since that point.

Does this have the annoying commercial bumpers in all the episodes?

Copy that, thank you. Definitely passing on this. I’ll just keep my region 1, 2 and 4 hodgepodge collection as is then.
