^^ Not to mention his first move: casting Bravestarr as a white man. Good grief - keep him away from Bravestarr, for the love of all that's unholy...

Lol, not for nothing, but I'd GLADLY sacrifice Bravestarr to get TMNT back. Sorry Penny, don't be mad

I can only think of one property, currently, that would cause a crazy meltdown online if Bay got hold of it: My Little Pony. Can you imagine the outrage?

Personally, I'd find it hilarious, as I don't give a damn about that brand at all, but man, just imagine...the internet explosion would be off the charts.

Omfg... please let this come to pass... in a really bizarre attempt at being "realistic." The weirdness and response would be glorious.

The Native American community has suffered enough - and Bay's insensitive about racial portrayals at the best of times. I'd prefer that's one property he didn't get his hands on!

The idea of Bay trying to figure out how to incorporate explosions into the MLP franchise is hilarious though. That or Care Bears.

I think it'd look something like this:

The Care Bears are now a crack commando team who are there to defend 'Murrica against... something.

And the tag line would read "They care. A lot."

FUUUU---!!! No Bravestarr ruination please. Since we are throwing out 80's cartoons for future movies, if Bay could make a cool Cabbage Patch Kids movie, then we might have something awesome. ;D

New style MLP Bay-tized? Sure, why not.

Not too sure I wanna see a Bay style Jem, Bravestarr, or C.O.P.S movie anytime soon.

At least they don't entirely look like C.H.U.D.'s.

There is a Jem film in the works. Again, I was never really into that either, so I'm not all that concerned.

The only properties i had any affinity for were Superman, He-Man, Transformers, Robo-Cop, Spider-man, and TMNT.

Take a look at that list. Seriously Hollywood?... SERIOUSLY!

If He-Man goes the way of the others, i will be broken!

A man... can only... take .... so much.

I'm sure there's worst out there.

Like this...
Or Baypatch. I might have doomed us all with that one idea.

Jem has been done for a while, it comes out in October. They shot it in a month for no money. It stars a bunch of no-names, and Molly Ringwald. Since it was a property created and designed by a woman, and the entire thing has always been marketed to girls, they had a guy direct it, an all-male team of Producers (but a couple chicks are "allowed" to be cinematographers), and they promptly told the show creator to go F herself when she offered to be involved with the production. This is happening because after the "success" of G.I. Joe, Hasbro signed a 6-film deal with Universal. Because you people won't STOP going to see stupid movies, and they're convinced they can just do any goddamn thing and sell it.

True story? The same people ARE doing the My Little Pony movie, which comes out in 2017. Hope you're all proud of yourselves.

And Bravestarr kinda sucked, I don't care what they do with it.

Oh, so we might be getting a Jem bomb? Groovy. Because we need even more a-hole movie producers telling the former creators of a series that they don't know their **** or to **** off.

Jeez.

Oh yeah, I'm fully expecting Jem to flop. And when it does, they'll say it's because there's no market for movies with mostly-female cast members, and it'll be years before they try anything like it again.

For some bizarre reason which I cannot fathom, there seems to be this attitude that women will watch movies full of men, but men will not watch movies full of women. I think it's silly, personally - good stories are good stories. Who cares if your protagonist/s has/have bewbs? Do people really think that way?

Jeez.
Ain't no "might be" about it. This thing is apparently giving off nuclear levels of toxicity within the industry. It's a total Rambo "mission designed completely to fail" scenario.

I mean, yeah, the show itself was total cotton candy fluff, but that just begs the question of WHY make a movie out of it? We already had a sh*tty "Josie and the Pussycats" and it's almost the exact same thing conceptually. Not every idea has a right to exist. Especially not when it's being done poorly on purpose.
