according to the actor's Twitter/Instagram, Brian Tee has already begun filming, but it must be behind closed doors, because no set photos have surfaced.

Im betting they are trying to keep him under the wraps on purpose.

Cool pic. That would be just a little scary dealing with getting low flying, legit helicopter on camera like that. Esp with those crane-like lights close to overhead. More power to 'em... lol

Nope, I believe that's a Foot Soldier trying to break Shredder out of the Truck, Since the Turtle Truck is chasing after them.

I know he said this is an opening scene, but I wonder if the movie's just going to start off with "BAM: BREAKING SHREDDER OUT." When he said opening scene, my immediate thought was like 3-5 minutes of dialogue and then you've got this action scene.

I can't really tell, is that a police truck? If it is could be an interesting way to wrap up Sack's storyline and kick off the story- The Foot trying (and failing) to break him out and the turtles inadvertently bringing police attention to themselves.

So the opening is about breaking Shredder free?

This reminds me of The Dark Knight (Joker hunting down Harvey Dent's prison truck), and The Dark Knight Rises opening scene (Bane's plane raid) for some reason tbh. Hope it'll be epic!

Ok, avoiding videos so can't speak from viewing any of that. But if Shredder is in a police truck or something... then I guess maybe this might be starting off right where the first movie left off? Or a little while later and maybe Shredder is being transferred elsewhere? Hmm. (Kinda hoping they fast forward the years though, since the first was clearly shown as 2014; keeping the next as happening in 2016.)

So quiet after all the stuff turning up online, did they wrap up these particular shoots or just take the full weekend off and actually sleep a little.

Well, The film would take place 2 years after the 1st film, So I would guess, They are transferring Shredder to another Prison or something.

You should probably stop assuming its 2 years later just because the movie comes out 2 yrs after the first one.

exactly..theres a ton of movie sequels that are filmed years apart yet take place immediately after the first one ends
