How many times was #1 printed?

I was curious as to how many times #1 was printed (and thinking about trying to finish collecting them all). I came up with this list, with some added, thanks.

individual comics

1st printing (Gobbledygook ad inside back cover)
2nd printing (speck above Raphael on cover)
3rd printing (lighter cover, more blood on sword in logo, slightly smaller size)
4th printing
5th printing
6th printing (softcover)
6th printing (hardcover)
PBBZ printing (no duotones, new lettering)
2007 video game reprint
2009 Free Comic Book Day
2009 color reprint
2009 color reprint (hatching error)
IDW Color Classics #1
IDW Color Classics #1 (Jetpack)

collected books

Collected Book 1 - 1st printing (hardcover, signed and numbered with COA)
Collected Book 1 - 1st printing (softcover)
Collected Book 1 - 2nd printing (A.C. Farley cover)
First Graphic Novel 1
Collected Book 2009
IDW Ultimate Collection 1 (color cover)
IDW Ultimate Collection 1 (B&W cover)
IDW Ultimate Collection Red label
IDW Ultimate Collection Black label
IDW Ultimate Collection Blue label

upcoming: "The Works" volume 1 (reprints Color Classics 1-7)

That's 25 editions! Am I missing any?

I think you got all of them. I guess after all those printings there's no excuse for anyone not to own #1 in some form.

There's also the IDW Limited Red, Black, & Blue lable editions of the Ultimate Collection v1, but good luck tracking those down!

Thanks, haven't heard of those. I'll just stick to the individual releases..who has the space (and the $) for that amount of collected books?

It really is an impressive run of reprints. I wonder where it ranks on the list of most reprinted comics? What would even beat it? Fantastic Four 1? Amazing Fantasy 15? I'd say its hands down the most reprinted comic from an independent publisher.

I think that's the '6th printing', right?

I'm sure issue #1 will be reprinted many more times in the future too.

Wasn't sure where to post this in this section (as I've already made a thread in the toy area) but another reprint of #1 is on the way. It'll be edited (presumably to tone down violence) & included with an as of yet unknown Wal-mart exclusive figure from Playmates. Info & image is courtesy Kevin Eastman's Facebook.

Working on a cover for a Playmates Walmart exclusive toy - that will include an edited reprint of TMNT issue one.

Spoiler:

Also, we've gotten a few new reprints since this thread was made, right? Pretty sure I can think of at least one or two...

Wonder what the edits will be.. the story was edited and made more kid-friendly for the Lego TMNT comic.
Most definitely some more have been released..two that spring to mind are the Ultimate Visual History Edition (2014) and the Artisan Edition (2017). I'm sure there are more.

These are the individual reprints that IDW has done (or planned) so far.
