What's your favourite non-turtle character?

I've seen this serie so many times, but I still can't forget the amazing characters it contains. It doesn't have as much characters as the 1980 serie, but everyone of them as a great role in the cartoon.

So I'm asking, what's your favourite character outside of the turtles (just to give the spotlight to other characters)?

If you ask me, the Triceratons in general and one of the greatest characters of the serie. They are strong, powerfull, serious and reckless. Yes even goofy sometimes.
Traximus for example was amazing due to his non-violent revolutionary spirit! It always looked to me like that kind of cool uncle in family, always up to do weird yet responsible actions!

What about you? What's your tought on your favourite character?

p.s. Anyone knows why my profile picture doesn't show in the threads? Thanks!

1998? There was no TMNT in 1998.

Anyway, Bishop I guess? It's probably a good idea to have a villain who has formal power like that.

Bishop is probably one of the coolest villains, along side Mr.Touch and Mr.Go in my opinion.

I've never seen him as a villain tho. His purpose might seem bad, but it has a reason to it.
Ok, he is not definitely a nice guy, but compared to Shredder, Bishop seems more human ( no pun intended x) ).

Baxter Stockman. He?s my favourite villain in the series, there from the start and one of the few to get a good ending.

Bishop was probably the most interesting villain. I also loved Hun (season 1 and 4 version)

Oh $hit, I forgot Stockman. Love Stockman. The sociopathic human scientist, no fly mutations allowed.

But Leatherhead is an antagonist for half of an episode.

Stockman was the most emotional villain for me. Who didn't want him to finally be free and restart his life?
It was WAY better than the 1980 version, and generally, it was a ba***s villain too!
In "Return to New York" he needs to be taken down 5 times before being definitely defeated! Even Shredder was like: "What the hell..."

Hun... he is just awesome. He was so strong, yet so weak because of his trusting behaviour. When he finally turns the back to Shredder, he gets even more intimidating!
Also, you can't be a fan of Hun if you don't know how to properly scream "NOW BE CRUSHED!"

Is this just a general thread applying to the whole franchise or does it strictly apply to the 4Kids series? CKD mentioned Hob and he aint in this show so...
Anyway,
My favorite character outside of the TMNT is probably the 4th Purple Dragon from the left, in the background of the opening episode in 4Kids. Oop. You mean actually a real character? LoL. Okay! Okay!

Casey Jones. Across the board, besides the TMNT, he has been the golden shining light of the franchise. What an amazing creation who's given that much more personality by Elias Koteas in the 1990 movie and in later incarnations. His fan film by Hilarion Banks is amazing. His appearances in Mirage are always FUN FUN FUN!

So, for me... Casey Jones.

Tecnically, yes, it was only for the 4Kids adaptation, but it's still good to hear that someone gives some love to Mr.Jones!

In the 4Kids adaptation they made him pretty weird as a character, since it's stupid like a donkey but very deep in other things.
Or maybe he is deep and violent only when he is on a familiar context, dunno.
I love it anyway.

For me, Leatherhead is my favorite..not only do I like that, in 2003, he breaks anti-reptile stereotypes by being a crocodilian ally, I also feel I relate to this version of him on several levels, whether it’s the interest in technology a la Donatello or trying to cope with trauma and emotional troubles...

I wish Baxter Stockman had stayed Human at least a little bit longer, ready to make some deadly inventions.

Leatherhead is in my list of people (well kinda) that I would like to give a freaking hug.
I loved him in 2003. Knowing what he had to suffer makes me sad, but then I keep thinking: "Damn, this guy never gave up tho."

It's just a great gu- I mean... crocodile... or alligator... ?
Yeah whatever, you got it.

Knowing how much time the turtles took to beat him in Return to New York, I would be worried.
Baxter was a pretty great character too, and his villlain like behaviour is kinda explained in this adaptation, making him more human than I ever thought.

I'm assuming Usagi doesn't count. If he does count then Usagi.

If I can't count him then on the good guy side I'll say Casey. I like how he's just cool and up for anything no matter how insane it is. Though I can say the same for April. April is/was just a less extreme version of Casey as far as being an ally and friend goes.

On the bad guy side its Bishop. I would say Stockman but he gets messed over so often that I stop seeing him as a bad guy and more like someone who should die so they can finally have peace.

Bishop is the kind of guy who is almost a more fitting villain than Shredder. Shredder is just some old ninja asshole obsessed with Revenge and power. Bishop wants to protect the planet from every possible perceived threat, doesn't tunnel vision on the turtles, and will steam roll anyone who gets in his way. Bishop's almost religious dedication to his cause drives him to see even the most innocent non-human being as a threat to be destroyed is what makes him so terrifying.

Yes, Usagi freaking counts!
He had quite a good amount of spotlight, and they made him just like in his comic.
Also, I keep quoting his best line even today...

"Failure, fear, in the lives we lead, these things are inevitable...
how we deal with them... that, is the true test of our character."

So true about bishop and shredder, rewatching the show makes me feel shredder is only an arrogant tyrant care about himself and anyone can be sacrificed. And the anger of revenge and obsess of power makes him sometimes short-sighted and reckless. While bishop never get pissed, he is deliberated, he is a more reliable partner, as long as the goal reached, he doesn't care who is the most benefit one or he has to sacrifice something, and he has a "nobel" goal, at least not for his own good.

See how the two treat differently to Stockman? How Shredder brutally treated Baxter only makes Baxter turn against him. Baxter will be a useful man if he treat him fair. And even more The Shredder's plans will be a success if it wasn't Stockman.

Stockman is like a powerless Shredder. Until "Stockman past" episode and his brutally treated by Shredder make audience more sympathy to him.

Yes, Shredder acts like douche in alot of episodes, where he could have easily destroyed the turtles.
Even Bishop in some minor moments, but I guess it was for the plot. That guy is op.
