Has anybody taken the heads off the 7-inch figures? Just wondering how well those swappable heads in the accessory pack will work.

Pretty easily. Raph and Don popped right off, the other 2 I had to hit with a hairdryer for 20 seconds or so.

Thanks. That also sounds awesome to me. More appealing than the cartoon figures.

I'm glad now that Elias Koteas originall declined as it sounds like we may have received a traditionally painted portrait while April will be getting the new face printing. This way both human characters should get that superior treatment.

I hope April is in the yellow raincoat. That would be awesome.

I can't imagine how they could expand the first movie line, especially into deluxe figures. Other than Tatsu and April, what else is there to seriously do? Raphael in a bathtub? It's not like the turtles ever changed outfits.

You know what though? I'd really be okay with a TMNT movie I and II line that was as finite as it should be. There is an opportunity there to truly represent those flicks with two or three solid waves and BAM! Done. It could literally be fully represented by that and it would be great.

Let the FW line get into the deep cuts and move into an Archie line before I abandon this whole thing in life completely. LOL

Yeah, a finite line for the first movie seems appropriate. Deluxe versions of the regular figures with more accessories sound good though.

The interviewer took the words out of my mouth and suggested to Randy that he'd like Eastman style figures. That sounds extremely cool to me. Lawson figures would also be really cool and unique looking. So much potential with the comic line.

Randy sounds like he knows something about The Last Ronin. How do you think he knows? Comic industry friends? Playmates holding The Last Ronin license in some hilarious twist of fate?

Wouldn't surprise me if we saw Ultimate Turtles with the new accessories and multiple expressions. I would definitely pick them all up again.

I have always longed for something like this, whether in statues or action figures. Kind of like the Batman Black and White line from DC Direct; 3D renderings of the Turtles in different artists' styles.

I'd pass on Jim Lawson, but would absolutely pick up Craig Farley, Stan Sakai, Michael Dooney or Michael Zulli Turtles.

It's amazing how many Godzilla NECAs sit unsold in Targets around the country. Man, that would have been a dream to behold back when I was a kid and official Godzilla merch was in painfully sparse supply.

What they need to do is release a 3 3/4" Godzilla line with straight up action figures from the new "universe" of movies. Then they can make a Godzilla and Kong playset which is essentially a giant and near to appropriate scale of each of the two. It'd be big, but let's face it - people are buying actual scale millenium falcons, Sentinels and even back in the day we had the G.I. Joe Aircraft carrier.

A legit Godzilla for a 3 3/4" line would sell.

I agree.

Part of me would like to see 90s movie interpretations of Bebop, Rocksteady Krang and Stockman.

How?

Surely it's worthwhile sourcing some of Henson's original artists. Base the figures of their concept art?

Could be a real labour of love. Beyond making representations of something that exists - NECA could create some exciting new figures.

I would love to see a NECA-original, 80/90s-movie-creatutre-design-styled, 1990-TMNT-movie-inspired Leatherhead. In the same vein as their Alpha Predator.
