I'm reading about it on Wikipedia. I guess there would have been some problems to fit that many characters into one movie

Did it even get that far? Some concept art and a vague basic premise/ideas for it, but I wouldn't hold my breath on a script actually existing.

I didn't realize that a trilogy had been planned for the 2007 movie. The sequel sounds like it would have been a solid follow up that did justice to the franchise! Same with the third.
