Spoiler:
I love stuff like that. Wonder where the artwork ended up? Pretty amazing to have won something like that, then for TMNT to become as massive as it did.

Yeah, I think so. I'm pretty sure I have a scan of it somewhere... If I can find it I'll post it.

Awesome! If Peter posted it, then, I wonder if it was a copy or they never gave it away?

Man, I was a year old when that was made! The turtles have fair changed, huh? Raph looks awesome there. I wonder what that is sticking outta Don's shell - looks a bit like a tail, but his tail is between his legs, where it should be. Perhaps a holster for his bo? Or the katana that can be seen on the orginal comic cover?
Edit: In fact, does Raph have a katana on his back, or is that part of the robot?

Yep, they are short swords! Cool detail, would have made for a fun distraction in battle "Holy crap, I'm seeing four!!"

Hey are we counting ANY comic related publication? Cause I found a nifty vintage Mid-Ohio con program that has the turtles (drawn by mirage artists) All over the cover.

This one's not likely to count, but still seems worth showing
From Our Story Thus Far #2, an 'artist jam' book where the ongoing storyline is told in single page entries from different artists, I present the Eastman and Laird entries: Yeah, I'd read a Triceratron, Agent of the Elder Gods series.

There's a turtle cameo in there?

Finally found the September 1994 issue of Heavy Metal with the TMNT appearance (of sorts)-- it's a mostly terrible story: I like the look of the art, but the content of the 10-page story is lame: two backwoods stereotypes in the bayou using tired Looney Tunes antics to catch critters to add to their grandma's gumbo.
